A personal testimonial of one's experience is a powerful statement against lived abuse and injustice, but is also a deeply vulnerable and personal matter. The WorkThrough Project recognizes the critical nature of ensuring such is handled carefully, ethically, respectfully, and safely.
Survivors of domestic and sexual abuse can, if they feel comfortable doing so, share their experience and anything else they might wish to. Any and all information submitted to The WorkThrough Project is completely revocable at any time for any reason, even if previously consented to sharing. Responders' safety, consent, and protection are of the utmost importance, and sharing one's traumatic events is in no way an obligation and should only be a willful and personally determined act.
