Water proof wrapped them and ditched the red sheet.
$7 from walmart
The final setup came out nice.
After using cardboard to figure out the size and shape, drilling it together
Used a jig saw to cut the angles of the shelves
A wood worker recommended using Melamine whiteboard and it was a great choice. Stays clean, and pre-finished
I had to use so much cardboard to build a custom model of what the wood shape should be.
And more cardboard
I had seen the work of 5th Element and wanted to copy it to a lesser degree for $17 at Home Depot with a bread box.
Front Window
Another shot of the panels
small pop out windows
These pieces of cardboard were wrapped with vinyl wood on one side and black on the other. They keep out the sun and add some privacy. I had to spend some time making them fit the windows exactly.
Seemed like a feasible way when I needed to brush teeth or something inside the car
Large Half Saw w/ Drill worked well
Used a few zip ties, a $ store mixing bowl, and a $10 plastic drawer from Walmart
