In order to make the fan, I copied the Fun Life Crisis bloggers and took the window out, made a wood copy and then transferred the hardware from the window piece to the wood copy.

The MaxxFan Delux was a game changer: highly recommend. Check out my links page for what I've bought for reviews.
Pro tip: Key features were usable in rain and a remote.
Quite easy with a quick youtube search
Took some time to sand down to fit. I swapped the hardware over to the wood copy.
Good tools are key, but you can rent many from Home Depot
The fan comes with everything (plastic pieces, hardware etc.) but I had to use some washers and hex nuts for this 1/4 '' wood piece
Following the instructions, I put a layer of silicon caulking in the same square shape to keep water out
Fan works incredibly well, totally worth every penny
Quick Video showing how I cut the moon roof's wood replacement (traced w/ pencil)
Doesn't Hurt to Check it fits before cutting the hole.
Didn't work at all really. So I cut another hole you can see above, and dropped the big fan in there.
You can also see I swapped the hardware to the wood in this shot
Good test for fitting and electrical
I thought I'd build this cooler fan to beat the heat.
Despite it working, I didn't like the size, and the cost of buying ice so I started to think of other fans like Rv's have.
I tried using the fan from the cooler project but it was useless, besides getting me prepared for the bigger fan project
