Resources for High Schoolers

Resource Portal : The resource portal is the part of the HelpWeb. Ranges from general resources about school requirements, and links to other parts of the HelpWeb. Technically this directory page is also part of the Resource Portal Component.

Education

Synerge Education: Synerge is a site where you can study for specific subjects, with YouTube tutorials for each (mandatory) subject for each grade, as well as including other educational resources, and study tips and general tips to excel in high school

The link below is for the educational subject/course based tutorial videos on Synerge. Currently we don't have any educational videos, coming soon in summer. However Google Product Tutorials do exist.

ZenZone : The ZenZone is a site where you can just chill, relax, take a break and de-stress, meet peers, improve your lifestyle by way of general practices, and this also attempts to help people recover from mental health illnesses such as depression, by providing a supportive community, and assistance.

Interesting fact: ZenZone's logo and name both are derived from proposed names and logos for Seace.

Creativity and Idea Generation

ideaNexus: ideaNexus is a site where you can generate ideas and get resources and experience specific to the fields you are interested in, as well as expert help in those fields (coming soon)

Interesting fact: Did you notice that the "i" in ideaNexus is spelled lowercase? Its not a typo in case you were wondering, it is spelled like that.

enviroSTART: enviroSTART is a (relatively) small site where you can learn how to help the environment - ten ways to be sustainable in your daily life, places to volunteer at or donate to to help the environment, and what environmental crises are ongoing right now. You can also learn how to make cool things out of waste products, in a process called upcycling.

Interesting fact: enviroSTART was originally known as Project Reject, and it had two components - the upcycling component as well as a how to revitalize rejected ideas section. The latter was merged into ideaNexus.

Peer Communication Spaces

Note: Until the HelpWeb updates to Version Delta, all of the servers are Discord based instead of natively embedded into the site system. So, this means you need a Discord account to join the server

Synerge: Peer Tutoring Group

This community server is a calm, safe, welcoming space where members can relax, take a break, play fun games with fellow members. You can hang out with other students, relax, chill and take a break, and maybe even make a new friend!

ZenZone: Wellness and Chill Community Server

ZenZone: Art Community Server

Did you know, you can talk to other people about art in general, your work, and the work in the galleries? That's right! There's a community server for art with mini servers for each type! A space where you can discuss anything art related. From posting your artwork and asking for feedback from peers, to contributing your own feedback, to engaging in discussions about art, the ZenZone Art Community has it all.

ideaNexus: ideaNexus ideaSpace Community Server

This is the IdeaSpace: A place where you can meet like minded individuals and you can: brainstorm Ideas and develop ideas with peers, team up with other individuals who like your idea and engage in collab projects and engage in friendly competition, by competing for prizes in the annual ideaContest.

HelpWeb for Students YouTube Channel

HelpWeb for Students: This YouTube channel is the duct tape that holds this site system together. Synerge's educational videos come from here, as do the tutorials from the Resource Portal. The content on this channel, most people will find helpful to some degree. Whether it be technology tutorials, school subject help, connections to cool initiatives, or just some relaxing guitar music, this channel's got you covered. This channel also posts site updates

HelpWeb for Students Podcast: Student Radar -Students at Issue

HelpWeb for Students: This Podcast will interview students about what they feel are the issues with the education system, specifically how easy students find it to access the educational resources they need, and how students think of the HelpWeb for Student's usefulness and performance.
