The Habit Maker respects your privacy. This app is designed to help you track habits and goals while keeping your data private and secure. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the app.
Information We Collect
The Habit Maker does not collect personal information such as your name, email address, or location. All habit data you create is stored locally on your device. If you enable Premium features, your data may also sync securely through Apple’s iCloud service.
iCloud Sync
When iCloud Sync is enabled, your data is stored in your personal iCloud account. Apple manages encryption and security for this data, and we do not have access to your iCloud information.
Analytics & Tracking
The Habit Maker does not track users, does not use third-party analytics services, and does not use advertising identifiers.
Purchases
Subscriptions are processed securely through Apple. We do not receive, store, or have access to your payment information.
Health Data (Optional)
If you enable “Get value from Health app” for a goal, the app reads only the health metrics you authorize, such as steps or workouts. This data is used solely to update your goal progress and is never sent to our servers. Health data remains on your device and within Apple Health.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, they are used only to send reminders related to your goals. You can change or disable notifications at any time in your device Settings.
Data Deletion
You can delete all your data at any time by removing the app from your device or disabling iCloud sync in your device settings.
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on your device and, if Premium features are enabled, in your personal iCloud account. We do not operate separate servers that store your goals or activity data. We rely on Apple’s infrastructure for data syncing and security.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The Effective Date above will reflect the latest version. Continued use of the app after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
