The theater that houses the Disc Wars Arena stunt show takes the place of the three theaters that were formerly located in the center of the Wonders of Life pavilion. The theater space is very dark and is illuminated through white lines of light. The stage for the show is divided into two sections. The first section is just like a traditional stage that is similar to those found in theater all around the world. The second section is raised slightly above the first section and is separated from the first section by a glass wall adorned with decorative grid lines. This wall is also used as a projection surface for special effects during the show. The stage in this section is made up of lots of different elevations and hidden pits completely hidden from the view of the audience.
The show begins when a wrestling ring announcer type program comes onto the first section of the stage. He proceeds to tell guests the rules of Disc Wars: Eliminate your opponent any way possible and give no mercy. He then hypes up the audience for the first match of the day. After the rounds begin he continues to commentate from the side of the stage. All the matches take place on the second section of the stage behind the glass barrier. The first match ahs two low level programs go at it for a short while before one is victorious and the other is derezzed. The derezz effect is achieved through projections on the glass, a trap door for the performer, and smoke. The second round shows Rinzler go up against another higher level fighter who he defeats with ease. The final round has Rinzler go against the winner of the first round. After a decent length duel Rinzler derezzes his opponent and is named the champion of Disc Wars.
The show is achieved by using lighting effects and darkness. The disks that are thrown in the show aren't actually disks but instead launched boomerangs with LED lights on them that spin so incredibly fast they form a circular shape. These boomerangs has a level of precision that allows stunt people to know where to stand in order to narrowly dodge one, catch one, or be hit by one. When the stationary before or after a match in the show prop identity discs are used then swapped out when they need to be throw. This swap is hidden by projections, strobe lights, darkness, and smoke during the show. (The picture is taken from a real Kickstarter going on right now but the technology was available when the pavilion hypothetically is developed).
