2 Chronicles 7:14-16
14 if my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 15 Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place. 16 For now have I chosen and sanctified this house, that my name may be there for ever: and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually.

Prayer!
Gracious Heavenly Father, we humble ourselves before Thy Holy Throne, in humility and brokenness of heart, realizing that our bodies are just dust, but our spirits were created in your own Image. Father, we approach Your Holy Presence under the powerful, cleansing Blood of Thy Precious Son, our beloved LORD JESUS CHRIST. We ask for forgiveness for all our unrighteousness, sins, iniquities, trespasses, transgressions, rebellion, stubbornness and shortcomings.
Heavenly Father, we are the work of thine hands, may you have mercy upon us and cleanse us from all wrong doings, that we may come to you with boldness by the Power of Thy Blood.
LORD JESUS, you said in 2 Chronicles 7:14, that if we, Your people, that are called by Thy Name, would humble ourselves and pray; that You will hear from Heaven and forgive our sins. Papa, I ask that You heal Your people and bring full deliverance to all that will read this prayer. And whatever they are in need of, Father, may you provide it for them that they, too, will have a testimony and exalt Your Holy Name throughout the whole world.
Father, we acknowledge Thy Power and Sovereignty over all the Universes. You alone, have the power and might to plant and to uproot, to build and to break down, to save and to destroy, to exalt and to bring low, to bless and to curse. Papa, Thou alone have the final say concerning our lives, destinies and purposes. You are the Great Eternal Jehovah, that cannot be challenged nor defeated.
I ask, O Great and Mighty Redeemer. that you come and save the lost, bring Your Light to those in darkness, deliverance to the bound, freedom to the captives, prosperity to the poor, and perfect health to the sick.
Papa GOD, may You bring full restoration to Your children and restore back all that the enemy has stolen, hindered, prevented, delayed and destroyed. And Father, may these testimonies expose the kingdom of darkness and all it's craftiness, devices and deception.
LORD JESUS, may You open their eyes that they may see the dangers of not having You, Father, as their ultimate LORD and KING. And LORD, reveal to Your people just how vulnerable they are to the powers of darkness; that truly without Your protection and guidance, they will perish.
Papa, You know these testimonies are true, therefore I ask, LORD, that through them, You may make Thy Glorious Presence known unto Your lovely children, that they too, will see You the same way I see You, O LORD.
My wonderful, beautiful, sweet LORD, may you became a reality to those that don’t know You. And in all things, may you be glorified, magnified and highly exalted above everything and everyone. May You have the full preeminence in our lives. O Great and faithful King.
I ask this prayer in the Mighty and Holy Name of our LORD and GOD, JESUS CHRIST. Amen!
Only Believe, All Things Are Possible.
Oh, the strength of the Son of God shining in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks. There He stands, the Judge, the One who suffered and died for us. He took the wrath of Divine judgment upon Himself. He tread the wine press of the fierceness of the wrath of God alone. As we have already stated, to the sinner His voice is as the sound of the cataract or the surf pounding in waves of death upon the rocky shores. But to the saint, His voice is as the sound of the sweetly singing brook as you lie at rest, satisfied in Christ. Shining upon us with His warming rays of love He says, “Fear not, I am He Which Was, Which Is, Which Is To Come; I am the Almighty. Beside Me there is no other. I am the Alpha and Omega, the ALL of it.” He’s the Lily of the Valley, the Bright and Morning Star. He’s the fairest of ten thousand to my soul. Yes, that great day is ready to break and the Sun of Righteousness will arise with healing in His wings. An Exposition Of The Seven Church Ages (2 - The Patmos Vision)
Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
THE DEITY OF THE LORD CHRIST JESUS
132 The greatest of all revelations is the Deity, the Supreme Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ. You can’t get to first base until you believe that, walk out…That’s what Peter said, “Repent, and then see the Deity. Be baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins, and then you’re ready to go in the Spirit.” The first thing you have to know is the Deity of Christ. “I am Alpha and Omega! I am from A to Z, there’s no more but Me. I was at the beginning, I’ll be at the end. I’m He that was, which is, and shall come, the Almighty.” Think of It! That’s what the trumpet said. 60-1204E - The Patmos Vision
16 So He first was God, Jehovah. And out of Him…Let’s just picture now as a little drama so you can get it. Let’s see coming out of space where there’s nothing, let’s make it a little white Light, like a mystic Light, like a Halo. And that was the Logos that went out of God in the beginning. That was the Son of God that came out of the bosom of the Father. That was what was in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word was made flesh and dwelled among us. In the beginning was God. And then out of God came the Logos, a part of God that went out of God.
57 Now, Jehovah God, up here, couldn't touch the human race, because of his own law of holiness. Jehovah God became sin for us and paid the price that the same Jehovah God could come and live in us. God above us; God with us; God in us. Not three gods---one God. the un
They can’t realize the Presence, this great thing, the Jehovah of the Old Testament, Jesus of the New, the Holy Spirit of this day, standing here tonight to make good any promise that He made.
John 1:1-4 1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
Colossians 1:18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence
The amazing, wonderful, beautiful Lord Jesus is the Great I am God. He has no competition and He has no equal. He is the ultimate Supreme Deity. He is the Mighty Conqueror, our Saviour, Redeemer, Creator, Maker and He is our all in all.
Furthermore, we cannot put anyone before him, for it is our duty to bow before Him in worship and in praise because He did not just create us, but He also redeemed us back unto Himself, beside him there is no one else.
126 We see the signs of the Lord Jesus healing the sick, raising the dead, casting out evil spirits. We see the—the people made saintly and holy, by the Holy Spirit. We see lives changed. We see great signs. We see mystic signs in the skies, like flying saucers. The Pentagon, many of the people putting it on television, writing it up. They don’t know what to think about it. All kinds of mysterious signs! The Lord Jesus coming down in a form of a Pillar of Fire, have His picture taken, living among us, proving that He’s the same yester 63-0623E - The Flashing Red Light Of The Sign Of His Coming
Jesus was the Express Image of God. Again in John 1:14, “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt amongst us.” The very substance of God was made flesh and dwelt amongst us. The great Spirit-God unto Which no man could approach, Which no man had seen or could behold was now tabernacled in flesh and dwelt among men, expressing the fullness of God to men.
When Jesus was upon earth He said, “Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of Myself: but the Father that dwelleth in Me, He doeth the works.” John 14:10. Here it is most evidently set forth that the perfect manifestation of God in the Son was by the indwelling Spirit manifesting in Word and works. That is exactly what we have been teaching all along. When the bride will get back to being a Word bride, she will produce the very works that Jesus produced. The Word is God. The Spirit is God.
They are all ONE. One cannot work apart from the other. If one truly has the Spirit of God, he will have the Word of God. That is how it was with the prophets. They had the indwelling Spirit of God and the Word came to them. That is how it was with Jesus. In Him was the Spirit without measure and the Word came to Him. (“Jesus began both to do and TEACH.” “My doctrine is not My own, but the Father’s That sent Me.” Acts 1:1; John 7:16.)
Revelation 1:8,17-18
8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. 17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: 18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
Now we can see His association with the Word. HE IS THE WORD. That is Who He is. THE WORD IN HIS NAME. In John 1:1 where it says, “In the beginning was the Word,” the root from which we get our translation for “Word” is “Logos” which means “the thought or concept.” It has the double meaning of “thought” and “speech.”
Now a “thought expressed” is a “word,” or “words.” Isn’t that wonderful and beautiful? John says the concept of God was expressed in Jesus.
And Paul says the very same thing in Hebrews 1:1-3, “God, Who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, hath in these last days spoken unto us by His Son, (Logos), Whom He hath appointed heir of all things, by Whom also He made the worlds; Who being the brightness of His glory, and the express image of His Person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high.” God became expressed in the person of Jesus Christ.
John 1:18, “No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, Which is in the bosom of the Father, He hath declared Him.” God, Who on occasions would manifest His presence by the cloud or pillar of fire that struck fear in the hearts of men; this God, Whose heart characteristics were made known only by revelation of words through the prophets, now became Emmanuel (God with us) declaring Himself. The word, “declare,” is taken from the Greek root which we often interpret as exegesis, which means to thoroughly explain and make clear.
That is what the Living WORD, Jesus, did. He brought God to us, for He was God. He revealed God to us with such perfect clarity that John could say about Him in I John 1:1-3, “That Which was from the beginning, Which we have heard,” (Logos means speech), “Which we have seen with our eyes, Which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of Life; (for the Life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that Eternal Life,
Which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;) that Which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ.” When God was truly revealed, He was manifested in the flesh. “He that hath seen Me hath seen the Father.” An Exposition Of The Seven Church Ages - 5 - The Pergamean Church Age
Now then, we can see that JESUS IS THE DOOR. He is the door of the sheep. And notice that it speaks now of the DOOR OPENING. What is that but a revelation of Him? And that Revelation is opening up to bring us Strength, to illuminate the Word and glorify His Name. It was in the midst of the two last ages that the Revelation of the Deity of Jesus Christ blossomed out before us. Yes, we knew He was God. How else could He be our Saviour? But to know that He was ONLY GOD, OR GOD ALONE, that He was the Alpha and the Omega, that this “Jesus was BOTH LORD AND CHRIST” — MAKING HIM LORD JESUS CHRIST, THE FATHER, THE SON AND HOLY GHOST, ALL ONE PERSON — that had been lost since the first church ages, but now we are seeing it again. The revelation of WHO HE WAS had come back. Indeed Godhead is not a three-person God with one personality, for it takes personality to make a person. If there is ONE personality, there is but one person. But they who believe in three persons have a three god Godhead and are guilty of breaking the first commandment. But the revelation of Godhead is back. Now the true church can build in strength again. After all this time she finally knows Who her Lord is. Once again we are BAPTIZING IN THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS just as they did at Pentecost. An Exposition Of The Seven Church Ages - 8 - The Philadelphian Church Age
The Supremacy of Christ
Colossians 1:15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: 16 for by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 17 and he is before all things, and by him all things consist. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. 19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell; 20 and, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.
Colossians 1:15-20 15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: 16 for by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 17 and he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
5 Then we find out the real supreme Deity of Jesus Christ. The whole Book here is just a revelation of Jesus Christ. And He come, we find that, “In sundry times and in divers manners, God spoke to the fathers through the prophets; in this last days through His Son, Christ Jesus, He has revealed Himself.” And the Book from Genesis to Revelation is nothing but one constant, perpetual, revelation of the Lord Jesus. 6 And we find out that He was the One that was in the burning bush. We find out that He was the One that was with God before the foundation of the world. And we find out that, in the New Testament, He was God and Man, together. And then when He left the New Testament, to go into Heaven, He said, “I came from God, and I return to God.” 57-0901E - Hebrews, Chapter Four
Now all these expressions, “Him Which Is,” and “Him Which Was,” and “Is To Come,” and “Faithful Witness,” and “Firstborn From Among the Dead,” and “Prince of the Kings of the Earth,” and “The Alpha and Omega,” and “The Almighty,” are titles and descriptions of the ONE AND THE SAME PERSON, Who is the Lord Jesus Christ, Who washed us from our sins in His own blood.
The Spirit of God in John expresses thusly in order to set forth the Supreme Deity of Jesus Christ and to reveal the Godhead as ONE God. Today there is a gross error. It is that there are three Gods instead of one. This revelation as given to John by Jesus, Himself, corrects that error. It is not that there are three Gods, but one God with three offices. There is ONE God with three titles, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. This mighty revelation is what the early church had, and it must be restored in this last day along with the correct formula of water baptism.
Who is God? The One that stood there and rolled stars off of His hands, and rolls worlds out of His hands, and made the things which do not appear: Deity. And Deity Himself lives in man. The Creator, that made heavens and earth, lives in mankind.
He said, “I come from God. I was that Pillar of Fire in the wilderness. I come from God.”
241 He was made flesh, the Son of God. God overshadowed a virgin, created a Blood cell that brought forth His Son. Which, God housed in that Son. “God was in Christ, reconciling the world to Himself.” “And I go to God,” after His death, burial, and resurrection.
216 It’s God unveiling Himself, bringing Himself down, so He can be…He was above, in a Pillar of Fire. Then He was manifested in His Son, Jesus Christ. And now revealed to us, by the Holy Ghost. Watch, when He come.
God is a Spirit, and He created... He changed his cast. It ought to be striking to people to think of "little Jehovah." He could have come a full-grown man, but He come into a manger over a manure pile. Little Jehovah, crying like a baby! Little Jehovah, playing like a boy! Little Jehovah, carpentering like a workman! Little Jehovah in the teenage! Jehovah, hanging between heavens and earth with gobs of drunken slobbers and spits of soldiers upon his face! Jehovah, dying for His children! Jehovah, dying to redeem! Not another person, but God Himself! See, God ... that was his office. Why? He was trying to get back to the heart of man.
55 Now, we couldn't touch Him there. Here, we felt Him with our hands. Now, what did He do through the offering of that body? He becomes Jehovah in us. We are parts of Him. On the day of Pentecost the pillar of fire bursted itself up, and tongues of fire sat upon each one, showing that God was separating Himself amongst his church. Then, brethren, if we can only get together and bring that together! Then we got Jehovah in the fullness, when we come together. But how can we, when this one's speaking in tongues and got the baptism, and this one... And then keeping this lick of fire over here, and this one... Let's put it together 64-0614M - The Unveiling Of God
1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
The Lord Jesus Christ is the Amen of God.
The Most Important Revelation Of GODHEAD In The Whole Bible, That Is, JESUS IS GOD, HE AND THE FATHER ARE ONE: THERE IS ONE GOD, AND HIS NAME IS THE LORD JESUS CHRIST
Revelation 3:14, “These things saith the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the Creation of God.” My, isn’t that the most wonderful description of the attributes of our lovely Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ? These words just make me want to shout. They bring such a spirit of reality into my heart. Just reading them without even waiting for a thorough revelation of the Spirit upon them thrills me. Jesus is giving us this description of Himself in relation to the last age.
The days of grace are winding up. He has looked from the first century right through to the twentieth, and told us all things concerning these ages. Before He reveals the characteristics of the last age to us, He gives us one final look at His own gracious and supreme Deity. This is the capstone revelation of Himself. Thus saith the “AMEN.” Jesus is the Amen of God. Jesus is the “So Let It Be” of God.
Amen stands for finality. It stands for approval. It stands for prevailing promise. It stands for unchanging promise. It stands for the seal of God.
I want you to watch this carefully now and see something really sweet and beautiful. I said this is His end-time revelation of Himself. When the day of grace closes, then the millennium comes very shortly thereafter, doesn’t it? Well, read with me Isaiah 65:16-19. “That he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from Mine eyes.
And now in this last age, we have come back to the capstone revelation, the most important revelation of Godhead in the whole Bible, that is, JESUS IS GOD, HE AND THE FATHER ARE ONE: THERE IS ONE GOD, AND HIS NAME IS THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.
He is the God of the Amen. He never changes. What He does never changes.
He says it, and it stands fast. He does it, and it is done forever. None can take from what He says or add to it. So let it be. Amen. So let it be. Aren’t you glad that you serve that kind of a God? You can know exactly where you are with Him at any time and all the time.
He is the AMEN God and won’t change. “These things saith the AMEN.” I like that. It means that whatever He said is final. It means that whatever He said to the first age and to the second and to all ages about His own true church and about the false vine is exactly right and it won’t change. It means that what He started out with in Genesis, He will finish in Revelation. He has to for He is the Amen, SO LET IT BE.
Now we can see again why the devil hates the Books of Genesis and Revelation. He hates the truth. He knows the truth will prevail. He knows what his end will be.
How he fights that. But we are on the winning side. We (I mean the believers of His Word, only) are on the Amen side. An Exposition Of The Seven Church Ages - 9 - The Laodicean Church Age
Isaiah 45:18 For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else. 19 I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.
Isaiah 65: 17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. 18 But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy. 19 And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.
For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy. And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in My people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.” This is about New Jerusalem. This is the millennium.
But as we go into the millennium, hear what He says about being a certain kind of God, verse 16, “That he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth.” Yes, that is true, but the real translation is not “God of truth.” It is “God of the AMEN.” So we read it, “Shall bless himself in the God of the AMEN; and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the God of the AMEN; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from My eyes. For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy. And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in My people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.” Hallelujah. Here is Jehovah of the Old Testament, “the God of the Amen.” Here is Jesus of the New Testament, “the God of the Amen.” Hear, O Israel: the Lord thy God is ONE God. There it is again, the Jehovah of the Old Testament is the Jesus of the New.
“Hear, O Israel: the Lord thy God is ONE God.” The New Testament does not reveal ANOTHER God, it is a further revelation of the ONE AND SAME GOD. Christ did not come down to make Himself known. He did not come to reveal the Son. He came to reveal and make known the Father. He never talked about two Gods; He talked about ONE God.
The Lord Jesus Christ Is The BEGINNER Or AUTHOR Of The Creation Of God
“The Beginning Of The Creation Of God.” That is Who the Lord Jesus says He is. But those words don’t mean exactly as they sound to us. Just taking them the way they sound has made some people (in fact multitudes of people) get the idea that Jesus was the first creation of God, making Him lower than Godhead. Then this first creation created all the rest of the universe and whatsoever it contains. But that is not right. You know that doesn’t line up with the rest of the Bible.
The words are, “He is the BEGINNER or AUTHOR of the creation of God.” Now we know for a surety that Jesus is God, very God. He is the Creator. John 1:3, “All things were made by Him; and without Him was not anything made that was made.” He is the One of Whom it is said, Genesis 1:1, “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” Also it says in Exodus 20:11, “For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day.” See, there is no doubt that He is the Creator. He was the Creator of a FINISHED PHYSICAL CREATION. Surely we can see what these words mean now. To have any other interpretation would mean that God created God. How could God be created when He, Himself, is the Creator?
An Exposition Of The Seven Church Ages - 9 - The Laodicean Church Age
Colossians 1:16-17, “For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him: and He is before all things, and by Him all things consist.”
“These things saith the Faithful and True Witness.” Now I want to show you what I find in the thought of “faithful.” You know we often talk about a great unchanging God, Whose Word does not change. And when we speak of Him after that manner we often get a view of Him that makes Him seem very impersonal. It is as though God made the whole universe and all the laws that pertain to it and then stood back and became a great impersonal God.
It is as though God made a way of salvation for lost mankind, that way being the cross, and then when the death of Christ has atoned for our sins, and His resurrection gave us an open door to Him, God just folded His arms and stood back. It is as if we majored in believing in a great Creator, Who having created, lost personal interest in His creation. Now I say that is how too many people are apt to think.
But that is wrong thinking, for God is GOVERNING IN THE AFFAIRS OF MEN RIGHT NOW. HE IS BOTH CREATOR AND SUSTAINER.
He is a Sovereign God. By His own counsel He purposed the plan of the salvation of His own elect which He foreknew. The Son died upon the cross to establish the means of Salvation and the Holy Spirit carefully executes the will of the Father.
He is working all things at this moment according to the purpose of His own will. He is right in the midst of it all. He is in the midst of His church. This great Creator, Saviour-God is faithfully working amongst His own right now as the great Shepherd of the sheep. His very existence is for His own. He loves them and cares for them. His eye is ever upon them. When the Word says that “your lives are hid with Christ in God” it means exactly what it says.
Oh, I am so glad that my God abides faithful. He is true to Himself, He won’t lie. He is true to the Word, He will back it up. He is true to us, He will lose none of us, but raise us up in the last day. I am glad that I am resting in His faithfulness. Philippians 1:6, “Being confident of this very thing, that He Which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the Day of Jesus Christ.”

Him as He stands there in the midst of the golden lampstands with the seven stars in His right hand. Oh, it is breathtaking to see Him standing there in His Supreme Deity.
He is the Judge, the Priest, the King, the Eagle, the Lamb, the Lion, the Alpha, the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the Father, Son, Holy Ghost, He Which Was, Which Is, Which Is To Come, the Almighty, the ALL IN ALL. There He is, the Author and Finisher. Worthy is that Lamb!

God forgive one sinner, one prostitute, He can never change His attitude. The immutability, the unchanging of God’s Word. God said, in one place, “I’m the Lord Who heals all thy diseases.” He has to stay with It, for He’s infinite. He knowed to the end from the beginning.

He’s perfect.

I’ve had the privilege in my life to meet great men, kings. I’ve been in four palaces praying for kings, monarchs, potentates. And you find great men, they’re little in their own sight. It’s men that’s nothing, little men that thinks himself big, that tries to make hisself big. That’s what makes God so big. He humbles Himself to come down to save, to heal: makes Him God to me. 57-0105 - Hear Ye Him
Deuteronomy 33:27 The eternal God is thy refuge, And underneath are the everlasting arms: And he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; And shall say, Destroy them.
561 We went through the word “Eternal.” Forever is “a space of time.” Eternity is forever, forever and forever, but there’s only one Eternity. And we find out that you receive Eternal Life, and the word in the Greek is Zoe, which means “God’s Life.” And you receive part of God’s Life, which makes you a spiritual son of God, and you’re just as everlasting as God is everlasting. You have no end, no place to stop, because you had no place to begin. Anything has a beginning has an end, and that without a beginning has no end.
Colossians 3: 1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
What a marvellous thing, to know the Creator of all the Universes, to see His marvellous works everywhere. We look at the stars, the moon, the constellation, the Angels, wildlife, the sea and all of its creatures, human life, and how it reproduces. To think that all of that was done Being, the Lord Jesus Christ. How incredible.
Exodus 15: 25 And he cried unto the LORD; and the LORD shewed him a tree, which when he had cast into the waters, the waters were made sweet: there he made for them a statute and an ordinance, and there he proved them, 26 and said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.
Come and see/taste that the LORD GOD is good. He works miracles, signs and wonders.
Evidence Of The LORD JESUS' Resurrection
Following the scourging and mocking, Jesus had sustained the following injuries, clearly visible on the Shroud
His beard had been ripped off (See Isaiah 50:6), with severe bleeding from His face.
He had severe bleeding from His scalp from the crown of thorns.
He had lacerations over His right orbit, from punching and beating with rods.
He had fractured nasal cartilages, from beating with rods.
He had sustained bruising of both cheeks from punches.
This was all in complete fulfilment of the following prophecy in Isaiah 52:14, “Just as many were astonished at you, so His visage was marred more than any man, and His form more than the sons of men.”
Jesus was virtually unrecognisable on the Cross.
John 19:1Then Pilate therefore took Jesus, and scourged him.
Scourging of criminals prior to Crucifixion to weaken the criminal was standard practice by the Romans. The Shroud of Turin reveals the use of a Roman scourge with 3 bar-bells. There were two soldiers. The Roman instrument used is called a flagrum, which is a short whip with 3 separate leather thongs, each terminating in a metal dumb-bell. Thus one lash would cause 3 separate wounds.
On the Shroud the scourging leaves circular dumb-bell shaped wounds all over the body. Jesus was draped over a pillar, and His naked body exposed to the flagrum. His arms were stretched and his back bent.
The Turin Shroud reveals wounds all over the body. Wounds are found on the back, the chest, the abdomen, the arms, the legs, and the pelvis.
Two Soldiers administered the Scourging
Early researchers on the Shroud realised that the marks on the Shroud came from two separate sources. They concluded this because the angles of the marks fan out from two points. One set of marks came from Jesus’ left side, while another set came from Jesus’ right side. The only requirement for soldiers administering a Roman scourging prior to Crucifixion was that the victim survived.
The number of lashes on the Shroud is excessive – about 120 lashes. Crucified victims commonly took up to 3 days to die, but Jesus took 6 hours to die – an indication of the severity of the scourging. This is possibly why Jesus was too weak to carry the Patibulum, which weighed 80 – 100 pounds
Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
his body shall not remain all night upon the tree, but thou shalt in any wise bury him that day; (for he that is hanged is accursed of God;) that thy land be not defiled, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance.
Revelation 22:3
And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:
Romans 10:4
For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
Psalm 69:26 For they persecute him whom thou hast smitten; And they talk to the grief of those whom thou hast wounded. 27Add iniquity unto their iniquity: And let them not come into thy righteousness. 28 Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, And not be written with the righteous. 29 But I am poor and sorrowful: Let thy salvation, O God, set me up on high.
He was pierced on the side
John 19:34: But one of the soldiers pierced his side with a spear, and at once there came out blood and water.
In John 19:34, it is mentioned that one of the soldiers pierced Jesus' side with a spear while he was on the cross. This event occurred after Jesus had already died. The purpose of piercing his side was to confirm his death and ensure that he had not merely swooned or fainted.
On the Shroud: On the right side of his chest, there is a large bloodstain that flows from an oval-shaped wound caused by a pointed and sharp object that struck between the fifth and sixth ribs, penetrating deeply. The characteristics of this wound indicate that it was inflicted after the man's death.
There is a large blood stain over the right chest wall area, consistent with the post mortem wound to the chest. There is a penetrating skin wound in the right chest wall produced by a sharp puncturing instrument, almost certainly a Roman spear. The spear wound is between the 5th and 6th Right ribs.
Dr Robert Bucklin comments: “This wound has all the characteristics of a post-mortem type flow of blood from a body cavity or from an organ such as the heart. At the upper plane of the wound is an ovoid skin defect which is characteristic of a penetrating track produced by a sharp puncturing instrument.”
Only one nail was used to fasten both feet.
A soldier then bent Jesus’ knees and held the right foot over the Stipes Crucis. Another soldier hammered a nail just enough to penetrate the skin of Jesus’ left foot. Jesus’ left foot was then placed over His right foot. The nail was then hammered in so that both feet were fastened by one nail to the Stipes Crucis.
The Romans used thick nails with large heads for Crucifixion. The nails were approximately 1/3 inch thick, and about 9 inches long. They were thick so that they could support the weight of a human body. They had a large head to keep prevent the wrists from tearing off the nail.
The Roman soldiers pierced the feet with the nails through the second intermetatarsal spaces. Again NO bones were broken. Gravity will naturally pull the body downwards, so that a nail in the foot will not tear out. The dorsalis pedis artery would be severed, causing severe haemorrhage of blood. The whole body weight was suspended on the nail in the feet. This caused continuous agony for Jesus Christ.
The dorsal image on the Shroud shows the Right foot more clearly than the Left. Both feet are turned inward. This means that the Left foot was on top of the Right, and only one nail was used to fasten both feet. When Jesus died, the body stiffened on the Cross. This position was preserved in Rigor Mortis after they took Jesus down and covered him with the Shroud.
Crucifixion was invented by the Persians in 300 BC, and perfected by the Romans in 100 BC.
It is the most painful death ever invented by man and is where we get our term “excruciating.”
It was reserved primarily for the most vicious of male criminals.
Jesus refused the anaesthetic wine which was offered to Him by the Roman soldiers because of His promise in Matthew 26: 29, “But I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father’s kingdom.”
Jesus was stripped naked and His clothing divided by the Roman guards. This was in fulfilment of Psalm 22:18, “They divide My garments among them, and for My clothing they cast lots.”
The Crucifixion of Jesus guaranteed a horrific, slow, painful death.
Having been nailed the Cross, Jesus now had an impossible anatomical position to maintain.
Jesus’ knees were flexed at about 45 degrees, and He was forced to bear His weight with the muscles of His thigh, which is not an anatomical position which is possible to maintain for more than a few minutes without severe cramp in the muscles of the thigh and calf.
Jesus’ weight was borne on His feet, with nails driven through them.
As the strength of the muscles of Jesus’ lower limbs tired, the weight of His body had to be transferred to His wrists, His arms, and His shoulders.
Within a few minutes of being placed on the Cross, Jesus’ shoulders were dislocated.
Minutes later Jesus’ elbows and wrists became dislocated.
The result of these upper limb dislocations is that His arms were 9 inches longer than normal, as clearly shown on the Shroud.
In addition prophecy was fulfilled in Psalm 22:14, “I am poured out like water, and all My bones are out of joint.”
After Jesus’ wrists, elbows, and shoulders were dislocated, the weight of His body on his upper limbs caused traction forces on the Pectoralis Major muscles of His chest wall.
These traction forces caused His rib cage to be pulled upwards and outwards, in a most unnatural state. His chest wall was permanently in a position of maximal respiratory inspiration. In order to exhale, Jesus was physiologically required to force His body.
In order to breathe out, Jesus had to push down on the nails in His feet to raise His body, and allow His rib cage to move downwards and inwards to expire air from His lungs.
His lungs were in a resting position of constant maximum inspiration.
Crucifixion is a medical catastrophe.
The problem was that Jesus could not easily push down on the nails in His feet because the muscles of His legs, bent at 45 degrees, were extremely fatigued, in severe cramp, and in an anatomically compromised position.
Unlike all Hollywood movies about the Crucifixion, the victim was extremely active.
The crucified victim was physiologically forced to move up and down the cross, a distance of about 12 inches, in order to breathe.
The process of respiration caused excruciating pain, mixed with the absolute terror of asphyxiation.
As the six hours of the Crucifixion wore on, Jesus was less and less able to bear His weight on His legs, as His thigh and calf muscles became increasingly exhausted.
There was increasing dislocation of His wrists, elbows and shoulders, and further elevation of His chest wall, making His breathing more and more difficult
Within minutes of crucifixion Jesus became severely dyspnoeic (short of breath).
The agonising movements spontaneously started several times a minute, to the delight of the crowd who jeered Him, the Roman soldiers, and the Sanhedrin.
However, due to the nailing of Jesus to the Cross and His increasing exhaustion, He was unable to provide more oxygen to His oxygen starved body.
The twin forces of Hypoxia (too little oxygen) and Hypercapnia (too much CO2) caused His heart to beat faster and faster, and Jesus developed Tachycardia.
Jesus’ heart beat faster and faster, and His pulse rate was probably about 220 beats/ minute, the maximum normally sustainable.
Jesus had drunk nothing for 15 hours, since 6 pm the previous evening.
Jesus had endured a scourging which nearly killed Him.
He was bleeding from all over His body following the Scourging, the crown of thorns, the nails in His wrists and feet, and the lacerations following His beatings and falls.
Jesus was already very dehydrated, and His blood pressure fell alarmingly.
27 His movements up and down the Cross to breathe caused excruciating pain in His wrist, His feet, and His dislocated elbows and shoulders.
28 The movements became less frequent as Jesus became increasingly exhausted, but the terror of imminent death by asphyxiation forced Him to continue in His efforts to breathe.
29 Jesus’ lower limb muscles developed excruciating cramp from the effort of pushing down on His legs, to raise His body, so that He could breathe out, in their anatomically compromised position.
30 The pain from His two shattered median nerves in His wrists exploded with every movement.
31 Jesus was covered in blood and sweat.
32 The blood was a result of the Scourging that nearly killed Him, and the sweat as a result of His violent involuntary attempts to effort to expire air from His lungs.
33 Throughout all this He was completely naked, and the leaders of the Jews, the crowds, and the thieves on both sides of Him were jeering, swearing and laughing at Him.
34 In addition, Jesus’ own mother was watching.
35 Physiologically, Jesus’ body was undergoing a series of catastrophic and terminal events.
36 Because Jesus could not maintain adequate ventilation of His lungs, He was now in a state of hypoventilation (inadequate ventilation).
37 His blood oxygen level began to fall, and He developed Hypoxia (low blood oxygen).
38 In addition, because of His restricted respiratory movements, His blood carbon dioxide (CO2) level began to rise, a condition known as Hypercapnia.
39 This rising CO2 level stimulated His heart to beat faster in order to increase the delivery of oxygen, and the removal of CO2
40 The Respiratory Centre in Jesus’ brain sent urgent messages to his lungs to breathe faster, and Jesus began to pant.
41 Jesus’ physiological reflexes demanded that He took deeper breaths, and He involuntarily moved up and down the Cross much faster, despite the excruciating pain.
He was in First Degree Shock, with Hypovolaemia (low blood volume), Tachycardia (excessively fast Heart Rate), Tachypnoea (excessively fast Respiratory Rate), and Hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating).
By about noon Jesus’ heart probably began to fail.
Jesus’ lungs probably began to fill up with Pulmonary Oedema.
This only served to exacerbate His breathing, which was already severely compromised.
Jesus was in Heart Failure and Respiratory Failure.
Jesus said, “I thirst” because His body was crying out for fluids.
Jesus was in desperate need of an intravenous infusion of blood and plasma to save His life
Jesus could not breathe properly and was slowly suffocating to death.
At this stage Jesus probably developed a Haemopericardium.
Plasma and blood gathered in the space around His heart, called the Pericardium.
This fluid around His heart caused Cardiac Tamponade (fluid around His heart, which prevented Jesus’ heart from beating properly).
Because of the increasing physiological demands on Jesus’ heart, and the advanced state of Haemopericardium, Jesus probably eventually sustained Cardiac Rupture. His heart literally burst. This was probably the cause of His death.
To slow the process of death the soldiers put a small wooden seat on the Cross, which would allow Jesus the “privilege” of bearing His weight on his sacrum.
The effect of this was that it could take up to nine days to die on a Cross.
When the Romans wanted to expedite death they would simply break the legs of the victim, causing the victim to suffocate in a matter of minutes. This was called Crucifragrum.
At three o’clock in the afternoon Jesus said, “Tetelastai,” meaning, “It is finished.”
At that moment, He gave up His Spirit, and He died.
When the soldiers came to Jesus to break His legs, He was already dead. Not a bone of His body was broken, in fulfilment of prophecy (above).
Jesus died after six hours of the most excruciating and terrifying torture ever invented.
Jesus died so that ordinary people like you and me could go to Heaven. Please see our teaching on How to Go to Heaven.
The LORD will always take care of His own
I can just lie back and hear it speaking peace and joy and contentment to my heart. How glad I am to be anchored in the haven of rest where the voice of the Lord speaks peace, as the Word of the waters of separation hath declared. How thankful we should be to hear His voice of love and care and guidance and protection. And some day we will hear that same sweet voice speak, not in judgment, but in welcome to us whose sins have been remitted by His blood, whose lives have been Spirit-filled, and whose walk was in the Word. What could be more precious than to hear the multitudes of welcoming voices and be surrounded by those multitudes who have believed unto eternal life? Oh, there is nothing like it. I pray that you will hear His voice and harden not your heart, but receive Him as your King. An Exposition Of The Seven Church Ages (2 - The Patmos Vision)
The God of Miracles, Signs and Wonders.
125 Here is our little church setting here, Lord, men and women who I believe love You. And I pray, God, that that Spirit that’s filled many of their hearts, days gone by, will now come deeper, in more. May they lay aside every malice, every strife, everything that’s unlike You, and move up today. Not to the manger, but to Calvary. Not as altogether to Calvary, but to Christ, the hope of Glory, the Deity of God, the magnificence of God, the Power of God that’s now in our hearts, trying to draw us out of the things of the world, that He might take us out of this earth someday, unto a better Land. God, grant it today. Hear the prayer of Your servant, and speak to the people. 49-1225 - The Deity Of Jesus Christ
