Mark and Craig Giesy started the Pit Camp in the summer of 2003. Many campers have come from all over Northeast Ohio to participate at camp.

Each camper will be introduced to fundamental skills and footwork techniques that are used by the best players in the world. We like to use competitive drills to reinforce the fundamental techniques that we are teaching and bring out the best in our campers.

We stress teamwork, fun, and basketball skills such as shooting with proper form, ball handling, scoring off a pivot, proper way to make a pass, rebounding and outlet footwork, how to defend the ball, etc. Campers will be put in game time situation where we are able to use teachable moment to better their basketball IQ's. We will also teach campers how to use spacing, cutting, and screens to make the game more enjoyable for the players and spectators.
