The Gatsby Studio is situated in Wesbank, one of Oudtshoorn's established residential neighborhoods, offering guests a convenient and central location from which to explore the town and surrounding Klein Karoo. The studio is also conveniently located on Route 62, making it an ideal stopover for travelers exploring one of South Africa's most scenic driving routes. 

Within easy walking distance, guests will find a shopping center with a pharmacy, biltong shop, PathCare laboratory, fish and chips takeaway, liquor store, and laundry facilities. In the opposite direction are two petrol stations, a SPAR, as well as TOPS at SPAR, and the De Jager Sports Complex and REC Centre, making The Gatsby Studio an ideal choice for visitors attending sporting events. Queens Mall, with a variety of shops and services, is also located nearby. History enthusiasts can visit Arbeidsgenot, the former home of renowned South African author C.J. Langenhoven, just a few blocks away. The Oudtshoorn town center, home to the CP Nel Museum, charming cafés, restaurants, and local shops, is also only a short distance from the studio.
