Nadia’s research centers around the impacts of anthropogenic disturbances on freshwater ecosystems. She focuses on how human activities modify wetland habitats, the dynamics of aquatic invasive species, and the effects of plastic pollution on ecosystem health. Additionally, Nadia explores biological conservation and ecohydrology, aiming to support the sustainable management of freshwater ecosystems.
