Our Mission

"One thing I have learned in a long life: that all our science, measured against reality, is primitive and childlike - and yet it is the most precious thing we have."

- Albert Einstein

How did Future Einsteins originate?

The idea of Future Einsteins was born when I, Aastha, volunteered at a science camp in the summer of 2018 at a local library. I loved helping young children engage in fun and interesting activities that not only filled them with laughter and joy, but also sparked their interest in various scientific fields. So I thought to myself, why not make an organization with a unique and interesting spin on conventional methods of teaching science? Through fun, interactive, and creative experiments and activities, we hope to enrich students about the fascinating world of science and all that it has to offer for us and our environment.

What is our purpose?

By attending Future Einsteins, we hope children gain a better and deeper understanding of the different branches of science (biology, chemistry, physics, etc.) so they can apply these lessons to their everyday life, as science is all around us! Additionally, by exposing children to science at a young age, we hope to invoke enthusiasm towards the numerous scientific professions, such as doctors, engineers, astronauts, ecologists, and so much more so they are better prepared for their future endeavors!

On a bigger picture, this organization was intended to bring education equity to Collegeville, PA and the surrounding communities. Many children lack access to educational facilities and equipment, which is why we hope to spark their interest in science through easy to do at home experiments and activities.
