Goals

The #ELLEdTech Project has three main goals that intend to address the underlying causes of the ELL Technology Gap.

The #ELLEdTech Project has several goals:

• Connect teachers, students and families with devices to use in learning at school and at home
  • Used device drives
  • Financial donations for new devices
• Provide additional EdTech Training to ESOL teachers to support them in using technology to support language growth:
  • School system provided trainings
  • Attendance to conferences and other professional learning opportunities
• Provide Tech Nights for families to support help parents learn about using technology to support learning at home by discovering:
  • Digital Citizenship
  • Resources available through the school system and public library system
  • Low-cost internet providers
