What problem are we attempting to fix:
The learning gap we've identified, is that our target audience has virtually little to no knowledge or experience of proper educational technology definitions, history, and career implications. We have found a solution that allows us the opportunity to instruct and expose our target audience to what exactly it entails to experience a student career in educational technology.
Our team will create a short 3-5 minute video presentation explaining what an educational technologist does as well as include a brief history, and possible career opportunities the field offers prospective students.
Our Goals:
#1: Introduce the Educational Technology program and address program inquiries, questions and concerns to prospective students.
#2: Increase enrollment into the Educational Technology program.
#3: Create a foundation that allows for student retention in the years to come.
