An Innovative Microschool
The Edsperience Microschool is the product of a kindergarten teachers' passion for education and a dream to educate young minds beyond the traditional classroom. The Edsperience Microschool provides academic tutoring, kindergarten prep, enrichment opportunities, summer camps, and so much more. The name "edsperience" is a combination of learning through experience. Our goal is to provide affordable, one-on-one or small group support to help students not only learn subject material but to truly gather an understanding of the subject. The Edsperience empowers students to achieve at their highest level through individualized support that puts the student at the center of our practice rather than the content. We strive to build not just academic skills but also relationships and a safe space for social and emotional learning. Our Kindergarten Readiness program helps to prepare preschoolers with the essential skills and confidence to be able to successfully transition and participate in the traditional kindergarten classroom. Through creative, fun, hands-on learning opportunities, we help to form a strong educational foundation to build upon throughout their lives. Consider what role an Edsperience can play in your child's academic journey.
Shay Wright-Fields
Meet Shay! She is a kindergarten teacher at a private school in Winchester. She lives in Lexington and is a wife and mom of three. She is passionate about education and ensuring every child receives an education that reminds them of how fun learning can be and the potential they can reach. If you ask Shay what she believes God's purpose for her life is, you're guaranteed to hear about the passion to teach that He placed on her heart at the young age of seven. She studied Elementary Education at Bluegrass Community and Technical College where she received her AA, AS, and AAS in 2011 before transferring Midway University to finish her studies. She taught pre-kindergarten for 16 years, receiving her CDA and Directors' Credential as an early childhood educator from Morehead State University. Today, she is a kindergarten teacher at a private Christian school, owner of Girl, Uplifted, a mentor program for young girls ages 6-17. It was after her 18th year of helping young minds of all abilities reach their highest potential through fun and creative experiences that she founded The Edsperience Microschool, to foster a love of learning beyond the traditional classroom.
What good is an education if the experience isn't fun and it doesn't motivate you to want to learn more?
