When you hire one of The Doula Sisters, you will get full support from your primary doula and backup support from either Sarah or Rachel, giving you confidence that you will be well cared for no matter what. Mission: Our mission is to celebrate the sanctity of new life by helping families welcome new members into the world and to empower moms and partners to go through pregnancy, birth, and the initial postpartum period with confidence.
Philosophy: The Greek word for "doula" literally means female servant! Our philosophy is to humbly serve by being available as a resource, listening respectfully, and by providing comfort measures and coping techniques before, during, and after labor. Our primary focus is on the mom, but is also on empowering the mom's pre-existing team (partners, friends, family) to support her well.
