Rem Jaen D. Krafft

Rem Jaen D. Krafft is a 17-year-old Filipino student, writer, and aspiring healthcare professional who spent much of his childhood in the Caribbean before moving to New York City in 2024. He went to the Academy of American Studies, a public high school located in Long Island City, during his junior and senior years. He developed a strong interest in psychology, literature, and the complexities of human behavior.

As the creator of The Double Attraction Paradox, Rem combines concepts from psychology, literature, chemistry, mathematics, and behavioral neuroscience to help adolescents understand attraction, non-verbal communication, and the emotional experiences associated with crushes and limerence. Through writing and podcasting, he strives to make psychological concepts more accessible while encouraging young people to approach relationships with empathy, self-awareness, and emotional maturity.
