Campaign Notes
Bright and Early on a Sunny day in South Chicago. Varian wakes up and makes a bowl of C3PO Cereal. Then goes to watch MTV. His parents are going to leave and they leave money and the keys to the spare car. Calliope "Cali" gets up, changes clothes, goes downstairs to make a bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch, eats, then goes to the forest and jams to music on her Walkman. Atticus "Leo" rushes to change clothes after realizing he fell asleep in the clothes he got high in the night before. He then goes downstairs and makes himself a cherry poptart, and drinks some milk straight from the carton. Then pours some Orange Juice to cover his tracks. He starts listening to his "High Playlist" on his Walkman and goes to get high in his room. Lisette wakes up in a very pink bedroom, cheery until she remembers she is going to have to do her senior year at the public school because of a party she threw. She is determined to try to convince them not to make her go while she is waiting on Bertram to finish her pancakes. But she fails. Cali calls Leo and invites him to the arcade. He attempts to sober up enough to drive but Cali can tell he's gonna fail and when he calls him back, she goes to pick him up. They go to the arcade. Lisette arrives at the arcade, she sees two half-elves playing Pac-Man and mumbles to herself, "ugh, crossbreeds". She makes her way to the counter and orders a fancy artesian water. He walks back with a bottled water. She is disgusted and orders a glass bottle coke and pays with a $5 (which is about $20 today) and says to keep the change. Cali and Leo walk into the arcade and see her, they joke about her appearance and then call Varian to check on him. Once he gets there, Leo jokes around and acts like Varian hit him. Varian knows his jokes and goes with it. The three walk in together. Lisette sees Leo and bombards him, Cali is pissed that she is being ignored and belittled and gets a bit "catty", Gronk, the owner of the arcade, a long time friend of the misfits, walks over and asks what the problem is, Cali explains, "Xenophobic prejudice" and warns her to stop - twice. After she calms down, she offers to pay for them to play unknowingly to the face Gronk lets them play for free since they have the high scores. They teach Lisette how to play alot of the games and they notice a blue glow from the wall. Gronk explains its a game that isn't prepped for the public yet and Cali offers to playtest and fix it. They do and get sucked into the game and fight against a guy street fighter style learning about their powers. When they escape, only about 10 sec had passed and they had everything they had in the game. Totally fucked by the whole ordeal, they go back to Leo's place and get high.
Everyone has gone home, aside from Lissette, who has hidden in Leo's closet, still high. An earthquake occurs. Cali calls Leo and then picks up Varian and goes to Leo's place. On the way, they saw a weird lizard dragon-like thing, the size of a cat, give or take, with 4 feet long wings. Cali teaches her how to each chips by feeding them to her in a very compromising position (Cali does not have a dick hush) She slaps Lizzy who seems to like it (Kinky bitch) She's like "I do favors for good grades." Leo locks Lizzy back in the closet till she sobers up. They showcase what they all saw this morning. Leo pulls out a taser. Cali locks herself in the closet with Lizzy. Sees if she realizes she's not straight. Girl talk and guy time ensue. Cali low-key flirts with Lizzy. Cali gets drunk on four shots of Jameson. They all get Jack in the Box on the way- they hear a fuckin Rick Roll lmao. They get 4 of everything on the menu, and they go to a nearby park. Leo literally feeds her a Long, Hot Fry in Lizzy's mouth. She takes the whole thing. A Hexcorp employee takes the Jack in the Box employee, and they go back to Lizzy's guest house and let the butler go for a joy ride. Lizzy shows them a fully stocked bar, and then they play truth or dare. After the game, the sounds of glass shattering, Cali tries to go check on it, but is told to stay. Especially so by Lizzy, who starts to make out with her (I mean full force). 2 Hexcorp Guards are in the house. They go to report back to Lizzy and Cali and find them almost going through with the deed.... yes, that one. Then she goes to attack Leo, getting Varian instead. (Lissette implies that she gives favours for good grades…) Leo pushes a long, hot fry into Lizzy’s mouth. She takes the whole thing.
Initiative is Rolled from the get go. After Taking out the evil Hexguards by causing them to laugh for no damn reason again, Atticus' shoots the head off one of them cleanly. Lissie tries to call her parents. Cali stops her and goes off on her. She then explains everything. Leo forces the others to stop. They disassemble the Robots and get a data chip. Her servant runs in and thinks he's gonna get fired before Lissie gives him $200 as a bonus and the rest of the night off. Cali describes Atticus' car for her servant as a Christmas present. She takes notes. Cali is craving Instant Ramen. Everyone gets a pager and a map to the place. (80s Sending Stones!!!!!!) Atticus looks for the archery range. Varian teaches Lissie about coins after Cali explains Instant Ramen is 5 cents (its the 80s i think this is accurate pricing) While Cali is Cooking Varian is tinkering with the robots while eatting the cup Ramen. She throws the head towards Varian while it yells, "Hey Looser there's Ramen." Atticus comes in and we all eat Ramen and Lissette teaches us how to use a pager. Cali sends Leo a message that says "Got Gud Weed" and Leo slides her a bag of weed. They go out to the garages to choose a car to take. They decide on taking the BMW. They go to HexCorp. The guards standing outside, Lissie manages to convince them to let us in. The crew has a heart to heart about "buying friendship" and ensuring people have money to feed mouths. They get into the building. They go into the Programming Suite. They go into the data chip Cali had. On the chip is 3 files, the different scripts and codes, blueprints, and directives. Directives: Gather subjects and erase witnesses. Atticus goes to the higher levels searching for the exec offices as a rat. The door is actually locked, there is a biometric scanner and none of our eyes work on the scanner. The CEO's office one Leo gets inside as an Ant- has a big machine inside and tubes connecting and people inside some of these tubes. Cali lets Lissie in on the dad secret. They go down to the exec floor and find "Darren Hex"'s office (the CEO). Lissie's card works on the door. They look around. Lissie finds a headshot and thinks they maybe can use it on the door upstairs. They get in after Lizzie wraps the portrait around her face (she got an insperation point for this). Varian dismantles the alarm on the button. They push the button. Jack in The Box employee- "LA...Hex...corp.... stop....." on his dying breath. They decide to go to LA.
Lissy reminds the party when they get back she will give them each their dream car. They go back to Leo's place and load into the camper van. Cali changes into a Motley Crue t-shirt and skinny jeans. Lissy has a shit ton of curling foams from Leo's mother. Cali and Varian get a shit ton of Comics. Cali introduces Lissy to the world of comics via a Wonder Woman Comic with Huntress. They continue to go through boxes looking for useful items finding a Bon Jovi Slippery When Wet Cassette and a Def Leopard Pyromania cassette. They come across a box of vinyl albums of different genres. Lissy calls Oskar and lets them know they have the next few days off with pay. There's a few small boxes of snacks and some drinks. Cali gives Lissy a haircut and styles it into a ponytail and teases it out a bit. They head out to start their adventure to California. They take Route 66. Leo is driving, Cali is playing copilot. They tease Lissy who then attempts to make a joke. Cali convinces Lissy to try Yoohoo. She likes it much to Cali's dismay. Cali and Varian tell Lissy to drink it like she means it. They end up telling her to drink it like she drinks alcohol. They drink Dr. Pepper somehow convincing Lissy to NOT add alcohol to it. Leo is Smoking Malbro Light 100 Shorts. Lissy has exactly 4 Cuban Cigars. Leo gives one to Cali who smokes it. Leo then also gives one to Varian then slips in the Slippery When Wet cassette. They get into Missouri finally and notice they need gas. They get to a nearby town called Blackspire where they fill up.Cali says she's going to take Lissy to Spencer's. Cali finishes in the bathroom and heads out to find these people talking to Leo. She purposefully calls him Damon. Cali calls out the guys missing hand. He lost it in a "mining accident" she then calls out the woman's missing ear "one of her ears fell off because of an infected earring.” Cali notices a young man sitting in a wheelchair missing a leg, she notes just about everyone who is missing an appendage of some sort. Cali notes to Lissy and Varian "code names quick.” A fuzzy voice in their heads, "feed the maw". Code Names: Leo - Damon, Cali - Penelope, Varian - James, Lissy - Kaitlin. The couple outside with Damon keeps asking if they are staying the night, attempting to charm Leo to stay. Lissy leaves the store. Leo pulls away from the gas pump shooing her to the sidewalk. Lissy notices she cannot walk anymore and sees black tentacles trying to hold her hostage.
Lissy takes 6 points of necrotic damage. INT rolled. Lissy is slapped by black tentacles. Lizzy gets charmed. Leo attempted to shoot the husband but missed shooting over his shoulder. The wife now mad casts thorn whip at Leo dealing 6 dmg. Pulling you 10 ft closer (within 5 ft of her). Cali runs out after Lissy calls for her and Varian claiming "literally life and death." Leo starts laughing uncontrollably because someone cast Tasha's Hideous Laughter. Cali breaks Lissy out of the charmed person. Then heals Leo. Lissy hits the gas pumps with firebolt. The Husband and Warlock 3 are both hurt badly. Cali attempts to take the damage from Eldrich Blast which still misses. He then misty steps to directly behind them. Varian attacks (i'm sorry I missed who) Cali spins and stabs one in the chest for 6 damage then gives insperation to Leo. Leo kills the wife, vaporizing her with Guiding Light. Then heals himself. Lisette shoots the husband killing him. Varian runs up and stabs the last warlock with his dagger for 5 damage killing him. They all get back into the trailer and in their head angrier, "Feed the Maw." The Manhole covers pop off the sewage systems. Black tenticles spew out of them. They pull random people into the sewage but we safe in trailer. From the rearview window the cashier comes out yelling that we forgot to pay for the snacks. "On the road again" is playing on a cassette in the trailer. Lissy has never heard the word Proud. Leo gives her a very special kind of joint. She gives Varian a "GameBoy" prototype with Super Mario Bros. She takes a hit on the weed. They rationalize that it wasn't murder but self-defense. "It was a murder but not a Crime." While they're driving Cali takes over the wheel, Varian plays on the gameboy. They see a hitch-hiker kinda like a monk. His name is Barry Blackwood and he's heading to L.A. We let him in. He snacks on a Pop-tart and a Dr Pepper.
Lissy flirts with Barry. Cali gets jealous. They talk about him. Lissy shares weed from her weird-ass bag. Leo punches it and causes Barry to land on Lissy, and Cali to land on him, then Leo punches the brakes, causing it to go in reverse. He gets up carefully and is like - "So Varian you like Video Games?" Lissy offers him a Game Boy. He plays baseball. He sleeps, accidentally slumping onto Cali's shoulder. Lissy passes her a note that says, "I'm sorry." Cali is going to write back, "It's okay, just remember your purse is not everything." The two converse via paper. They stop at a rest stop in OK on Route 66. Cali and Leo fight. They get back in, and Lissy reads "The Princess Bride." They just keep on going to LA. Just passing Tulsa, they decide to maybe stop for the night. About 5 miles down, they spot a Motel 6. They pass the Motel 6 and go to the La Quinta. They get a two-bedroom suite with 1 King and 2 Queens and a pull-out sofa. With a mini-fridge, microwave, TV, shower, a coffee/tea maker, and a balcony. Atticus dives onto the king bed, and Cali also claims it before going to share. Varian is claiming a Queen, and Lissy offers the other Queen to Barry. Lissy takes the pull-out couch. Barry is passed out, but the others go for a swim. There's a solid 5-10 seconds where everyone is naked. They go down to the pool, leaving a sticky note for Barry on his head that says, "Went Down to Pool". Leo Cannonballs and lands it pretty well. Lissy took the ladder in. Cali climbs the diving board. She tries for the dive, ends up halfway between a belly flop and a dive. Varian just jumps in. Shocker- Lissy can swim. Leo is swimming under the water. Leo pulls Cali under the water, then Lissy. Leo tries to repeat this with Varian but fails. Cali gets water in her nose. Things happen.
Wake up in a hotel in Tulsa, OK Leo is first to wake and shower Cali is up next and makes coffee Barry wakes up to the smell of coffee Varian wakes groggily Leo comes out of the shower in only a towel Varian wakes Lissy who is in pain from the pull out bed Lissy has foam curlers in her hair Lissy is shocked by instant coffee Lissy goes to take a shower Barry thinks everyone is Poly Shower is so hot the whole room is steamy. Bartender's name is Nyx and shakes Cali's hand Nyx gives Cali the gutair named Stormcaller.
They are on their way towards Dallas. They stop at a rest stop/ convenience store. Atticus buys cigs, beanie, pack of gum, and a baseball cap with ear pockets for Cali. Lissy and Cali are getting coffee and sunglasses for Barry. Lissy grabs some other things (Cold Drinks, Snacks, and a little trashcan) before she and Cali pay. They give Barry the Coffee and Ibuprofen, and show him his new sunglasses. We are in Paris, TX (I hope we saw the Eiffel Tower) 2 Hours from Six Flags in Arlington A baby time skip of 2 hours. We see the sign for Six Flags over Texas. We park. Start walking towards the entrance and get in line. Lissy grabbed a brochure, Varian is bouncing, Leo just stands kinda nervous, Cali tries to calm his nerves a bit. Tickets are $6 each person. (totaling $30) We ride the new ride Splash Falls. We are dragged to the ride "Shockwave" (the tallest coaster in the world at the time) (AFTER CALI HAS TO GET HIGH). They pay for front row. They get into the cart. The ride starts. It goes smoothly. We go to the photo booth area. Lissy approves of the coaster. Barry TOTALLY flirts with Lissy. (Lissy’s player almost doesn’t realize that Barry is flirting with Lissy)
Leo drags Cali into a Photobooth and the others follow. They joke around in the photos. They then get ready to leave, piling into the van once again. They go to Buc-ee's in Fort Worth. Then they head out towards the Grand Canyon. Varian takes over the wheel- then has to slam the brakes as some white flash is on the road. A large humanoid robotic figure is seen in outside the window. It's like a giant Hexguard. We take it on and succeed.

The Ending for the Misfit’s Clique
As the crew kept on their way to save their parents in California and take on Darren Hex himself, many things came at them. Stopping occasionally for respite and tourism. Cali taught herself how to play her new guitar and picked up an amp somewhere along the way. She and the crew had a couple of “carpool karaoke” nights on the way. They make their way to the Grand Canyon to sightsee. On the way there, they are greeted by a biker gang called “The Hellhounds,” who attempt to run them off the road. Under Leo’s expert driving skills and carefully cast spells from Cali, Varian, and Lissy, they can get away from them with minimal damage to the RV and its inhabitants.
After taking on the gang, the crew makes it to the Grand Canyon just before sunrise. Barry, being the first one up the following day, invites Lissy to see the sunrise with him while Cali and Leo are already outside waiting for it on top of the RV. They notice Barry and Lissy but don’t say anything, letting them take in the beauty of the sunrise themselves. Cali leans over and lays her head on Leo’s shoulder and watches the sunrise. Varian is still asleep, missing all the beauty. Barry and Lissy are watching as they hold hands. After a little while, Cali and Leo return to the RV door and head inside without disturbing Barry and Lissy. They notice that Varian is awake and playing on his Game Boy. “Morning Varian!” Cali exclaims with a smile on her face as she gets inside the RV. Varian jumps slightly and turns, acknowledging them, then turns back to the game he was playing. Cali sits in the passenger seat so she can watch Barry and Lissy. As Barry and Lissy continue watching the sunrise, Barry gives her a sidelong glance and quietly says, “Thanks for coming out here with me. It’s nice… just having a moment to breathe.” Lissy, still holding his hand, smirks softly. “Don’t get used to it. Breathing’s optional when we get to HexCorp,” she quips, but her tone carries a hint of warmth that betrays her usual guarded nature. Barry chuckles and shakes his head. “Noted,” he replies. They lapse into comfortable silence, letting the serene landscape do the talking. Inside the RV, Leo leans over the kitchenette counter, grabbing a pop tart from a half-empty box. “Varian, are you ever going to stop playing that thing? I swear, one day you’ll hit the high score and just vanish like in Tron.” Varian, without lifting his eyes from the Game Boy screen, grumbles, “At least I’d be the protagonist. Can’t say the same for you.” Leo smirks, tossing the pop tart wrapper into the tiny trash can. “Touché, kid.” Cali rolls her eyes as she settles into the passenger seat, plucking a few strings on Stormcaller. She glances out the window at Barry and Lissy, a small smile tugging at her lips. “Who knew Lissy could be sweet for more than five minutes?” she murmurs just loud enough for Leo to hear. He shrugs, biting into the pop tart. “Miracles happen, Cali. Even in this crew.” After watching the sunrise, Barry and Lissy eventually return to the RV, where the group gets back on the road. Along the way, conversations about what awaits them in Los Angeles grow more serious. Cali tunes Stormcaller and plays quietly in the background, setting an almost somber tone to the drive. In a pit stop at a diner along Route 66, Varian starts tinkering with a mechanical piece he salvaged from the biker gang’s attack. “What are you working on now?” Lissy asks, eyeing him skeptically. Varian shrugs, not looking up from his work. “Just trying to make something useful. Maybe a distraction bomb, maybe a toaster. I haven’t decided yet.”
Barry picks up on the rising tension and asks, “What’s the plan when we get there? How do we deal with HexCorp?” His question lingers for a moment before Leo responds. “We’re not the most organized bunch, but we’ve made it this far. We stick together, adapt, and take the fight to Darren Hex. That’s all there is to it.” The conversation turns to strategy as the crew brainstorms ways to infiltrate HexCorp’s facility. Cali suggests using disguises, while Lissy insists they’ll need more than charm to get past security. Barry volunteers to act as a distraction if needed, and Varian promises to have his gadgets ready by then. They decide to stop in Vegas for a quick break, but upon entering the casinos, they are ambushed by disguised Hexguards. The battle is swift and chaotic, with Cali unleashing Stormcaller’s full potential, sending rippling waves of sound through the enemy ranks. Varian uses his gadgets to disarm several Hexguards, while Barry’s swift movements keep the crew covered. Leo channels divine energy into a protective barrier, shielding the group from incoming fire. Lissy, with precision and focus, takes out the last of their attackers. In the aftermath, Cali picks up a poker chip from one of the Hexguards, noticing the HexCorp logo engraved on it. “Looks like this isn’t just luck,” she mutters, pocketing the chip. The crew regroups and prepares to head into the heart of HexCorp’s operations in Los Angeles. As the crew gathers their bearings after the ambush in Vegas, the mood in the RV becomes more serious. The poker chip Cali found starts to feel heavier in her pocket, a symbolic reminder of what lies ahead. Barry, casually reclining with a soda in hand, breaks the silence. "You know, Vegas wasn’t my idea of a warm welcome. HexCorp must really be scared of us."
Cali smirks, tuning Stormcaller. "Good. Let them sweat. If they think that was bad, they won’t know what hit them when we show up at their front door." Leo leans against the kitchenette counter, arms crossed. "We need to regroup and make sure we’re prepared. This isn’t just about walking in and wrecking the place. HexCorp’s bound to have traps—and worse." Varian, still fiddling with his Game Boy, looks up. "We’ll be fine. We’ve dealt with worse, haven’t we?" His words bring some levity, but the tension remains. The RV rolls forward, a faint haze on the horizon signaling the approach to Los Angeles. The city gleams in the distance, its sprawling expanse hiding HexCorp’s dark secrets. As the Misfit’s Clique crosses the city limits, the group steel themselves for what’s to come. As the RV pulls into Los Angeles, the group feels the weight of what’s ahead. The distant skyscrapers loom like sentinels, with one building in particular—a reflective fortress with HexCorp’s insignia glinting in the sun—marking their destination. The streets buzz with life, but to the Misfit’s Clique, it feels like the city itself is holding its breath, waiting for the storm they’re about to unleash. Cali checks her guitar, making sure Stormcaller is ready for anything. "Alright, team. This is it. Time to show Darren Hex exactly who he’s been messing with," she says, her tone equal parts determination and mischief. Lissy nods, pulling a compact from her purse and checking her reflection before snapping it shut. "Let’s make this quick, though. I’m not one for long goodbyes—or long battles." Varian holds up a small contraption he’s been working on, a grin spreading across his face. "This little gadget ought to keep their systems distracted while we’re sneaking in. Call it... Varian’s very first toast-bot." Barry raises an eyebrow but smirks. "Toast-bot? Really, Varian? Let’s hope it toasts the right things—or people." Leo tightens the straps on his gear, glancing back at the group. "Stay sharp. The second we step inside, there’s no turning back. We’re getting our parents out of there—and we’re making sure HexCorp doesn’t hurt anyone else again." The crew shares a moment of silence, the reality of their mission settling over them. Then Cali breaks it with a sharp laugh. "Okay, no more doom and gloom! We’ve got this. And when this is all over, first round of drinks is on Lissy." "Excuse me?" Lissy retorts, raising an eyebrow. "I don’t recall agreeing to that." "You will," Cali teases, slinging her guitar over her shoulder as the group steps out of the RV.
As the group delves deeper into the HexCorp building, they come across a room labeled Project Relics: Experimental Gear. The door is locked with an intricate keypad, but Varian, with his knack for tinkering, quickly hacks it open using tools scavenged earlier in their journey. Inside the room, the atmosphere feels charged with energy. Shelves line the walls, filled with strange, glowing artifacts that hum faintly with magic and advanced tech. Each item seems to call out to its rightful owner. Leo spots a sweatband lying on an illuminated platform, its green fabric woven with shifting vine patterns. As he picks it up, he feels a rush of vitality. “This thing... it’s alive. I think it’s connected to nature itself,” he mutters. The item, later identified as The Gladekeeper’s Sweatband, syncs perfectly with his innate abilities, offering him a new edge in the fight to come. Varian is drawn to a sleek visor resting on a nearby workbench. The lenses flicker with streams of data, and as he slips it on, his vision sharpens. He lets out a low whistle. “Hyperflux Visor,” he reads off a label. “This is going to make hacking, aiming—hell, everything—a hundred times easier.” On a shadowed pedestal at the back of the room, Lissy finds a leather-bound book etched with shimmering runes. She picks it up, flipping through the blank pages, and the runes briefly glow under her touch. A faint voice whispers in her mind, offering power in the form of control. “This... this is very interesting,” she says with a smirk. Naming it The Burnbook on the spot, she knows it will allow her to influence foes temporarily, though she feels the weight of responsibility in how it should be used. The group exchanges glances as they take in their newfound treasures, the realization dawning that these relics were meant for them. Without a word, they step out of the room, more confident and determined than ever to take down Darren Hex. Armed with their newfound items, the Misfit’s Clique pushes deeper into the HexCorp facility. The air is thick with tension, and the hum of machinery seems louder now, almost deafening. Varian adjusts his Hyperflux Visor, the glow of its lenses reflecting the nerves behind his confident exterior. “Alright, this visor’s great, but does anyone else feel like we’re walking into a trap?” he mutters.
“Of course we are,” Leo responds, his voice steady. He brushes his fingers across the Gladekeeper’s Sweatband, taking comfort in its calming connection. “But we’ve got each other. That’s always been enough.” The crew enters a massive, dome-like chamber filled with towering stasis pods containing figures shrouded in glowing blue light. Cali freezes in place, her gaze locked on the pod closest to her. “Mom...” she whispers. Her knuckles whiten as she tightens her grip on Stormcaller. Lissy’s eyes sweep the room, falling on a pedestal in the center. Darren Hex stands next to it, his half-mechanical form imposing and monstrous. A network of tubes connects him to the pods, pulsating with the same eerie blue glow. He smirks, his distorted voice echoing through the chamber. “Ah, the Misfits have arrived. How predictable. I must admit, you’ve been entertaining... but this is where it ends.” Barry steps forward, fists clenched, his gaze unwavering. “Not if we have anything to say about it,” he growls. With a sharp motion, Hex activates a console, and the room shifts. The stasis pods slide aside, revealing an arena-like floor. Hexguards drop from the ceiling, their metal bodies clanking as they land. The fight begins instantly.
Cali strums Stormcaller and sends shockwaves across the chamber, knocking the Hexguards back. Leo channels radiant energy, strengthening the group’s defenses and casting blinding light toward their enemies. Varian uses his gadgets to disarm several guards, their weapons short-circuiting under his precise interference. Meanwhile, Lissy flips open the Burnbook, scribbling Hexguards’ names into its pages. “Stop,” she commands, and several guards freeze in place, their programming overridden. As the group battles their way closer to Darren Hex, he laughs mockingly. “You think you can stop me? I’ve evolved beyond anything you could imagine!” He raises his arm, which transforms into a cannon-like weapon, and fires at the group. Cali dives to the side, narrowly avoiding the blast. Barry leaps forward, aiming for Hex’s vulnerable tubes. With swift strikes, he severs several of them, causing the glow to flicker. Varian capitalizes on the opening, using his visor’s enhanced targeting to disable Hex’s machinery. Lissy focuses on the console, using the Burnbook to manipulate Hex’s commands, while Leo channels divine energy to weaken the arena itself, cracking the floor beneath their enemy. Hex roars in fury as his systems begin to fail. Cali strums Stormcaller one last time, unleashing a deafening chord that shatters Hex’s core, sending him crumbling to the ground in a final, defeated heap. The crew stands, breathing heavily, the chamber eerily quiet now. The pods flicker, and their parents begin to wake. Cali rushes to her mom’s side, her eyes filled with tears. The reunion is brief, but full of relief and resolve. “We did it,” Barry says softly, his voice tinged with awe. But before they can celebrate, the facility shakes violently. “Time to move!” Leo yells, and the group grabs their parents, sprinting for the exit as the building begins to collapse. Outside, the night sky greets them, and the RV feels like home again. As they drive away from the ruins of HexCorp, the Misfit’s Clique knows their journey isn’t over—but for now, they’ve won.
