Cursed with mortal folly and bound by ideal, without hesitation they pursue the dream which clouds their eyes.

Welcome to The Witch and the Dark Forest.
The year is 1982 and deep below the surface, the City of Magisfair is stricken by rumors of a Witch, a creature tied to the First Magic. Circulating tales say that in the deepest depths humans have reached there lies a massive forest which has swallowed excavators in droves. They say this Witch has contracted with Demons which have been called forth from the desires and misery of those lost to Albion.
The greater the rumor the greater the price and as this tales relevancy rises, more and more people are lured into the depths. Numerous factions have gathered in pursuit of their own desires to lay claim to whatever secrets or riches the Dark Forest might hide and are beginning their long descent.
Despite the horrors and the harsh environment which plague this place, you too have braced yourself to explore this hell below the surface. Regardless of your reasons or your strength, it will be miracle to escape unscathed. Even so, you'll make the descent regardless so that your aims might be fulfilled.
