Quran Desecrated In Yorkshire

Four students from year ten at Kettlethorpe High School have been suspended following the reports of a Quran been desecrated. Tudor Griffiths, Head teacher of the school, said their was no ill intent. 

The incident happened mid week and has already been blown out of proportion by the school, Police and local community. From the schools initial enquiry, that their should be one at all, stated the pupil had lost a Call of Duty bet with friends, as a result his "dare" was to purchase the holy book. The pupil evidenced it by bringing the book in to school that day. 

A local councillor named, Akef Akbar, held a meeting with the Head teacher, the local police chief, several other councillors and representatives from the Masjid(Mosque) 

Again, why we have this vast waste of tax payer money for a child bringing a book into school, who knows.  Its not entirely clear how this councillor found out about the incident at a School in the first place, but he wasn't going to miss an opportunity to wave the victim card. 

But find out he did, initially he stated it was reported that the Quran was "kicked and spat on" clearly that's not true or someone would have been murdered by now. But a fuss was made, and the school investigated. 

Interviewing over 30 School children one to one, over a book, their through investigation found. 

The Quran was purchased on Amazon, it was read in the tennis courts and carried in the school. A young boy with special needs did knock the book accidently, causing it to get scuffed and marked slightly. He and his mother have since received death threats and threats of violence.

Four students have been suspended, with the school saying they "crossed a line". This local councillor Akbar seemed still unhappy, he inspected the holy book noting the scuffs, but he wanted this recording as a "hate incident" so that will impede these children's future, he also wants to school to do more, The school obviously terrified have agreed to carry out further investigations working alongside the mosques of Wakefield and Hafiz Muhammad Mateen Anwar.  

Another local councillor, Usman Ali, described the desecration as “serious provocative action which needs too be dealt with urgently by all the authorities, namely, the police, the school and the local authority.”  This clearly is a threat of violence, stating that if nothing is done their will be "consequences" 

When will people stop cowering down to this nonsense, truly? If this was a Bible, or even another holy book i wouldn't even be writing this as its not news.

The police superintendent, Chief Superintendent Andy Thornton said a hate incident had been recorded and he would look to support the school. 

Thankfully Andy noted that this is not a criminal offence and should not be called one but treated as an "educational experience." Also noting that the children in question were only around 14 years of age with some having Autism therefore not having full appreciation of their actions. 

The head teacher clearly has no spine, saying in a statement: “We would like to reassure all our community that the holy book remains fully intact and that our initial enquiries indicate there was no malicious intent by those involved However, we have made it very clear that their actions did not treat the Quran with the respect it should have, so those involved have been suspended and we will be working with them to ensure they understand why their actions were unacceptable.

“This morning, we met with our local Muslim community leaders, local councillors and police to share all the information we currently know, the action taken and the immediate steps we have taken to reinforce the values and behaviour we expect from every member of this school community to ensure that all religions are respected."

Again, its a book, that the child purchased with their money. This blatant waste of tax payer money must end, just how much was this "experience day," 

Those "red letter day" treats sure have changed.
