Our purpose is... To foster, keep alive, and perpetuate an active interest in state and local history. To discover, collect, and preserve materials which may establish or illustrate the history of the area and state. To secure, preserve, and publish the recollections of those who have taken part in, witnessed, or are familiar with the growth of local communities of this area. To ascertain and mark historical sites and landmarks of this area. To organize solely for educational purposes, and, in this capacity, serve our community. 

Both buildings include restrooms, airconditioned, and are handicap accessible.
