The Coating Man Material and Labor warranty speaks to the commitment the brand has to providing outstanding exterior residential and commercial painting and coating services.
Based on the product selection with your residential advisor The Coating Man warranty includes up to a limited lifetime warranty on material for as long as you own your home and a 5 year labor warranty against workmanship.
We will put our crews, products and warranty options up against any other paint or coating brand and installation service company and win every time. We have a six-step strict inspection process as part of our standard residential and commercial warranty verification plan.
Below is our strict, and thorough project inspection process for every job we warranty:
Surface Prep - The substrate has been properly cleaned & Prepped to remove all surface contaminants in accordance with product label directions and/or written project specifications and is ready for the prime coat application
1st Coat Application of primer/sealers - The surface has been properly primed in accordance with label directions and/or written project specifications with the recommended Coating Man Primer/Sealer, and is now ready for the first coat of The Coating Mans High Performance Ceramic Acrylic coating.
Caulking/Patching & Surface Repair - All surface defects, such as open voids, joints, seams, and cracks have been properly repaired or caulked using the recommended caulks or patching compounds in accordance with product label direction and/or written project specifications and is now ready for spot application of recommended primer.
2nd Coat - 1st Finish Coat Application - The First finish coat of The Coating Mans High Performance Exterior coating has been properly applied in a manner as to yield a minimum of 12.0 - 15.0 mils wet film thickness (WFT), and has been properly verified during application of the second finish and final coat.
3rd Coat - 2nd Finish Coat Application - The second finish coat of The Coating Man High Performance Coating system has been properly applied in a manner as to yield a minimum of 12.0-15.0 mils wet film thickness, (WFT), and has been properly verified during application with a Wet Mil Thickness gage, in accordance with the label and/or any written project specifications and is ready for final inspection.
Final Inspection - The project has been completed and all phases of the project have been compiled within accordance with surface preparation, surface repair, application of the specified primers/sealers, and application of the top coats of The Coating Man' exterior coating system, and has been properly inspected by an authorized Coating Man representative, and is then approved for issuance of the material and labor warranty.
We are careful to treat your property and home with the utmost respect. We do not take shortcuts! We take every possible precaution to avoid damaging landscape during the prep and coating process. We cover your shrubs, walkways, as well as the driveway to protect against any overspray and drips. As part of the prep process, we tape off surfaces that are not being painted such as window and glass doors. Our crews clean their work daily before leaving and are respectful of your time.
