Check out our go-to plan for storytime! We always read two books, find our four directions, and appreciate art. We switch up the songs and fingerplays from time to time but also love to focus on repetition. We've included our trustiest intro songs with this template.

Storytime Breath Exercises.pdf

Breathing Exercises

Some of the breathing exercises we use at storytime. When we present a breathing exercise, we talk about what it can help us do: be calmer, be more ready, be more steady, be braver, be kinder, and more! We also introduce it as a great way to prepare to listen to a story.

Baby Storytime Plans

Katelyn hosts baby storytimes once a week. These are some of the plans she has created for this program. We value encouraging caregivers to bond with their baby through early literacy practices. We also value using storytime as a time and place to introduce informative resources to caregivers such as prelinguistic tips and podcasts about raising kind humans.

We both love collaborating, reader's advisory, managing our collection, and storytime!
