There had been a story describing an end-of-world/total-extinction scenario wherein humanity had only this limited amount of time & space in which to deposit some essential idea of itself into a piggy bank that would endure (like a Millennium Seed Bank for our mindful as well as our bodily DNA) as a container for this idea that might one-day help the equivalent of an archaeologist in some far-distant future to rediscover, rebuild, and revitalise our species.
