Why Israel Deserves Our Support
If any nation on Earth deserves our support, it is the nation of Israel. After the Holocaust, the United States led the way to help establish the state of Israel in 1948. Israel was founded mostly by Jews who left Europe during and after World War II. The Jews founded a democratic nation that, unlike other countries in the Middle East, recognizes basic freedoms such as freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and freedom of the press. Israel's judicial system is the best in the region and compares well with any European legal system.
