TBC^3 Overview

(The Brü Club Competition Circuit)

The Brü Club Competition Circuit (commonly named in Discord as TBC^3 - pronounced TBC Cubed) was created to promote the competitive side of the homebrewing hobby within the ranks of The Brü Club. Any member (defined as a Discord or FB group member - active paid Learned Brüer or unpaid) of The Brü Club may participate in the circuit given that they meet the participant criteria and adhere to the rules and regulations explained below.

The 2024 Circuit's headline/platinum sponsor was Delta Brewing Systems and the winner of the circuit, Ross Stuart, has been awarded with a new 1.5" Tri-Clamp 8gal FermTank fermenter (valued at $385). Many other prizes were given out as outlined on 2024 TBC Competition Circuit.

2025 TBC^3 Rules and Competition List

Background

The Brü Club only started having members compete under our club's name in 2021 where we had a total of 1 competitor, a Brüpetitor as we call them. In 2022 there were a few more than joined the ranks as regular competitors until the later half of the year where we grew to over 25 regularly competing members.

As we chatted and prepared for the 2024 competition season a few casually joked about having a TBC only competition circuit where we select competitions regionally across the United States (where the majority of our active members are located) and score medals earned within these competitions against to have a club leaderboard. A few on the leadership team got into a private chat and later a video call to determine the rules, competition selection criteria and nail down the details.

As they say, the rest is history and TBC^C was born December 2023 for our inaugural run for the 2024 Competitive Brewing Season.
