Rates & Policies

• $70 an Hour with a House Engineer and access to one isolation booth

• Chief engineer rates vary depending on the scale of the project and include access to one isolation booth

• 10-Hour Blocks in Studio A are at the price of 9 hours  (ex. $630 for a 10-Hour Block with a House Engineer)

• Production rates vary and are based on the scope of the project

• Other rates and fees may apply depending on whether there are specific details surrounding your project or engineer requests.

• Sessions scheduled between midnight and 8am are billed at double the rate

• All in person sessions have a two hour minimum.

• $80 an Hour, this includes House Engineer and full access to the entire studio space with live room and all booths.

• Chief Engineer rates vary depending on which engineer you choose to work with

• Production rates vary, and are based on the scope of the project

• Other rates and fees may apply depending on whether there are specific details surrounding your project or engineer requests.

• Sessions scheduled between midnight and 8am are billed at double the rate

• All in person sessions have a two hour minimum.

• $45 an Hour, this includes House Engineer and access to one small vocal booth

• $400 for 10 hour block with House Engineer

• If Studio A needs the large performance space for a session, it may book over a Studio B session with 24 hours notice given to the client. 

• While Studio B has access to most of the microphones that Studio A has to offer (excluding our U87s and the R44), Studio A has first choice.

• Sessions scheduled between midnight and 8am are billed at double the rate

• All in person sessions have a two hour minimum.

• Must be paid in full at the start of each block 

• Hours do not have to be used all at once and can be split up across multiple sessions

• All 10 hour blocks must be completed within 3 months of original purchase date.

• We cannot refund the purchase of a 10-hr block once any of the hours have been used by client.

All events are priced out specific to what is needed in each setting.

All events go through a review process and there is no guarantee that we can ultimately accommodate the event.

• $175 flat rate

• Non-Refundable

• Paid in advance of scheduled session

• Priced per job, this includes Engineer and equipment.

• Set up and tear down time is billable

• Engineer reserves the right to charge transportation/housing fee depending on distance and equipment needed.

• As a courtesy, we will try to hold sessions without a deposit for up to 48 hours, however, if another client is able to put a deposit down for the same time and the initial client cannot be reached, their session may get booked over.

• Sessions requested within 48 hours will have their holds end 24 hours before the start time of the session.

• Sessions requested within 24 hours require a deposit at time of booking.

• Sessions that don't have deposits at the end of their hold period will be considered cancelled and will be removed from our calendar.

• A minimum of 50% of the session total will be required as a deposit before the beginning of each session.

• Payment for mastering is due upfront.

• Quotes made for projects (recording/mixing/mastering/etc.) are valid for 90 days, after which the project will have to be reassessed and another quote made.

• Payments can be made via credit/debit card, check, or PayPal/Zelle (info@thebridgesoundstage.com). Cash is accepted if the client is already here for a session, cash drop-offs are not accepted.

• Cancellations with 24+ hours notice receive studio credit

• Cancellations within 24 hours of session start will forfeit deposit

• Sessions scheduled for five or more hours require 7 days notice of cancellation otherwise the client will be billed for half of the unused time.

• All services are payable when rendered.

• No bounces, masters, drives, or data can be released without payment in full.

• We are not responsible for materials, gear, or recordings left on our premises (unless other arrangements are made, restoration clients excluded).

• Hours are billed in 30 minute increments; studio time assumes normal breaks for engineers for coffee, lavatory, and other brief items.

• Clients are billed from the start time they booked, whether or not the client has arrived at the studio by that time.

• Studio setup and teardown time is not included with booking and should be considered part of the session.

• All additional materials including CDs, shipping costs, etc. are all billable to client

• We reserve the right to charge $0.10/page for printouts.

• Gift certificates/studio credit purchased on behalf of someone else is valid for up to one year after date of purchase. If credit is used towards a 10 hour block, then our 10 hour block rules would apply at time of purchase.

• Data files or tapes cannot be released if there is an outstanding studio balance.

• The Bridge Sound and Stage is not required to keep a back up of tapes or data once the final product is released to the client.

• Archives can include ProTools session files and appropriate audio files.

• Exports or file conversions of archived materials may be billed at regular studio hourly rates.

• Engineer’s notes remain the property of The Bridge Sound and Stage LLC.

• Acceptance of Terms. These terms and conditions constitute a part of the contract between The Bridge Sound and Stage, LLC and Client. Different or additional terms and conditions which may be included in Client’s purchase order or other acceptance of this quotation are hereby rejected unless approved in writing by the president of The Bridge Sound and Stage Retaining, hiring, or booking time with The Bridge constitutes full acceptance of these terms.

• Changes in Specifications & Cancellation. After acceptance of this quotation no changes by Client in the specifications will be binding on The Bridge unless The Bridge consents to such changes in writing. Additional charges for accepted changes will be billed to Client. Cancellations of bookings must be made within 24 hours. Cancellation made with less than 24hr notice will be billed for half of time booked. Same day cancellations may be billed for the full booking amount. 

• Data Storage & Materials. Unless specified in writing, data storage is at Client’s risk and may be released upon final payment.

• Terms of Payment. Due to the subjective nature of audio production, Client acknowledges that The Bridge obligation is limited to the act of recording, mixing, mastering, or processing the Client's audio. In the event of dispute, The Bridge’s contractual obligations are considered to be fulfilled in full by the act of processing. Submission of processed files, via FTP, web, or physical medium, shall constitute acceptance for purposes of contract fulfillment.

• Default. If Client defaults in payment of any invoice at due date, or in the event of any proceeding in bankruptcy or insolvency by or against Client, The Bridge in addition to any right it has, shall have the right: (a) to suspend or discontinue work until it has received payment in full for work performed; (b) to require cash in advance to cover further work; (c) to collect late charges of 1 1/2% per month from due date; and/or (d) to recover all costs of collection, including reasonable attorney’s fees. In the event credit or financial ability of Client becomes impaired or unsatisfactory in the sole reasonable judgment of The Bridge, The Bridge shall have the right at any time thereafter to change the credit terms with respect to any further work under this quotation.

• Use of Audio. Unless specified in writing, Client grants The Bridge the right to use Client audio for marketing purposes, including, but not limited to sample CDs, internet play systems, or other methods.

• Remedies. In the event The Bridge takes any action to enforce the terms of this Agreement and/or collect payment, Customer hereby agrees to pay all costs incurred in connection therewith, including, without limitation, all reasonable attorneys’ fees, expenses, and court costs incurred by The Bridge in its sole discretion. Customer further agrees that exclusive jurisdiction and venue for any claim arising out of or under the terms of this Agreement shall be in a state court of competent jurisdiction in Middlesex County, Massachusetts, and Customer hereby submits to the jurisdiction and venue of such court.
