Internships

An internship at The Bridge Sound and Stage will allow anyone focusing on music production and/or engineering to experience how a well-trafficked studio runs on a daily basis. Applicants who are accepted will have the opportunity to experience every facet of our business operations through a combination of hands-on vocational training under the close supervision of our staff, guidance and tips from our seasoned professionals, and access to sessions with a diverse array of artists and performers. Our program is designed to give you the necessary tools to build a successful career in this unique and exciting industry.

Internships at The Bridge are unpaid and typically last for one semester (or three months, for non-students), with the option to extend for a mutually agreed-upon period of time. Interns are not entitled to a job at the end of the training program.

Interns are expected to be here one set day per week from 10am to 8pm. Interns may request the opportunity to stay at The Bridge for additional sessions as well, but this time is not a substitute for the intern’s weekly training obligation. We encourage interns to sit in on sessions as often as they can once other studio work is finished and to ask questions of our engineers (at an appropriate time) in order to get the most benefit out of the intern experience.

We only accept applications for those who will be completing the internship for school credit, and although we may not always have a spot available, we will keep your application on file in case a spot opens up. If our schedule has space for an additional intern, we will review your resume and set up an interview between the candidate and our internship coordinator. To apply, send all information to info@thebridgesoundstage.com and we will contact you when a slot becomes available. Applicants should submit a resume and also are encouraged to provide examples of work, letters of recommendation, and/or transcripts, as well as your weekly availability.

At this time, we are only accepting intern applications for those who will be completing the internship for school credit.
