FAQ
Do you ship your cookies? No, due to cottage food law in the state of CA, I am unable to offer shipping.
Do you offer allergen free options? No, unfortunately I am unable to offer these selections at this time. All of my sugar cookies contain WHEAT, EGG, and DAIRY PRODUCTS. One flavor I offer contains almond oil, but the rest of my cookies do NOT contain nuts, but they ARE produced in a kitchen that may have come into contact with peanuts, cashews, almonds etc.
Are you licensed? Yes, I have my cottage food license through Riverside County, California. My license number is PR# 0079828. I also have a business license to run my bakery out of my home.
Do you offer Paint your Own Cookies? Yes, I will be offering those seasonally throughout the year.
Do you offer cookie decorating classes or parties for kids and adults? Yes, this service will be coming soon!
Why are custom cookies a higher price? This has to do with the amount of time it takes to bake and cool the cookies, make icing, decorate, dry, and package the cookies. This process takes at minimum 2 full days (for a dozen cookies, but can take much longer depending on how many cookies and how intricate the detail is on each cookie.
Can I place an order the day of my event? Unfortunately, no. Again, the process takes a minimum of 2 full days even with the most simple of designs.
How long will the cookies stay fresh? Each cookie is individually sealed for freshness. They can stay fresh at room temperature for up to 3 weeks.
Can I freeze my decorated cookies? Yes! This method requires a few extra steps, but can be a great way to enjoy your cookies at a later date. This method can help your cookies stay fresher for months. In order to freeze, put your individually sealed cookies in a plastic storage container with an airtight lid. Do NOT stack cookies on top of each other- just do a single layer. The day before you are ready to enjoy, carefully take your cookies out of the freezer and leave out on the counter top to fully thaw. **DO NOT TAKE THE LID OFF, JUST TAKE THE CONTAINER OUT OF THE FREEZER AND THAW ON THE COUNTER** Once they have come to room temperature you can take the lid off and they will be ready to enjoy.
