About The Bowmom Baker

Hi, I'm Krissy, and I'm The Bowmom Baker. I am a wife to a wonderful husband and a mom to 2 great kids. I am a teacher by trade and have taught many grade levels including Adult Education, English as a Second Language, and Spanish Dual Immersion 1st- 4th grade. I taught group exercise for several years and had to give that up due to injury. I was devastated, but God had other plans for me. He wanted me to slow down and enjoy life.

During 2019, I took up painting as a new hobby and loved it, and as i grew more confident, I decided to change my medium from paper and canvas to cookies and icing. I took a class from a fabulous local cookier and I was intrigued. What started out as a hobby, has now turned into a small business.

My goal is to bless others through my work and to teach others how to make and decorate these types of cookies. Throughout this process, God has shown me the importance of patience, and the joy that comes from loving Him and loving others through baking and decorating. It is my joy and pleasure to serve you.
