As cases of Monkeypox emerges here are ways to keep you and you campus safe
Keep 6 feet away and avoid as much skin to skin contact with anyone who has a monkeypox rash. This disease is only transmissible through skin to skin contact.
Do not share utensils or food items with anyone who is confirmed or who has been in contact with someone with monkeypox.
Ensure that you wash your hands often with warm soap and water &/or use ethanol based hand sanitizer, espeically when around any indiviual who is sick.
As of 2022 IU has made the mask mandate optional to all students and facultly. With advisory to continue to follow safety procedures, such as washing your hands, be conscious if any sympotoms emerges, and be aware of the free testing kits avialable in mulitple locations around the area.

All Students at IUB are reqiured to have their first dose of the vaccine by July 1st or have a approved relgious exemption. Faliure to do so results in the termination of your status as student, faculty, or staff.
