Yes, we know.  It looks like the word "ZuLern" is misspelled!

It's not!

It is actually German.  And it literally means, "Learning to Learn".

And that is exactly the philosophy of the BipSE App.  We are all learning.  Everyday!

Especially us, teachers!

And that is the whole point.  While the students are learning, their teacher is learning too.

• Learning about themselves.

• Learning about their students.

• Learning the best strategies to use.

• Learning which strategies motivate their students most.

• Allowing the students to learn more about their teacher in creative ways.

• And providing teachers support along the way to learn how to be the best teacher they can be.....and help them enoy their work!  

• Learning to trust and share within a learning community is important.  BipSE hopes to build that not only in the classroom, but also among fellow teacher colleagues.

Hello!  My name is Lori Kuntz.  I am an educator for over 30 years and have especially loved creating a connected classroom with high expectations, yet recognizing the needs and uniqueness of each student in my classroom.  Throughout my years, I've noticed a change in students' needs, especially individual needs to encourage and build student ownership and responsibility in their own learning and behavior.

It occurred to me, as an experienced teacher, how challenging it is to manage not only the students, but the paperwork and documentation required when managing students that enter Tier 2 and 3 for behavior supports.  That's where BipSE began.

As I continued this work, I realized how important all of the extensive strategies and support that I've built into Tier 1 practices uniquely supported students that entered Tier 2 supports.  As I began to search for supportive material and resources for teachers, I quickly realized, there was very little out there to support teachers in both classroom management, but also supporting teachers in Tier 2 strategies and documentation.  That's when BipSE began.

My hope is that BipSE will provide new and experienced teachers with guidance, encouragement and support, reduce their workload and inspire them to connect to their students and their students' families.  Within this work, I hope to help "lift" the stress for teachers of classroom management, and return the joy of teaching.
