Cadmea, or Cadmeo, is the first and smallest province of Thebes. It is made up of two tiny islands, the larger is Cadmea Island and the smaller is Ludlow Island, both located in Lake Gaston. It is home to the nations capital, New Thebes. It is a special province due to the fact it is governed by the king. It is named after Cadmus, the first king of Thebes, Greece.
