Our daily schedule is set as follows on Tuesdays and Thursdays:
9:00–9:15 am – Welcome & Free Play
Children ease in with self-directed play, puzzles, and books while teachers greet families and help kids transition.
9:15–9:30 am – Circle Time
Songs, calendar, weather, and a short theme-based group activity to build listening skills, routines, and community.
9:30–9:50 am – Learning Centers
Hands-on activities in small groups — literacy, early math, fine motor skills (cutting, tracing, matching, etc.).
9:50–10:10 am – Snack & Storytime
Children enjoy a snack while listening to a read-aloud that connects to the day’s theme or sparks imagination.
10:10–10:30 am – Creative Time
Art, music, or sensory play to encourage expression and exploration (painting, playdough, rhythm instruments, etc.).
10:30–10:50 am – Outdoor Play
Gross motor play at the rec center’s playground and grassy area — running, climbing, and games that build coordination.
10:50–11:00 am – Closing Circle
Wrap-up songs, show-and-tell, or quick reflection. Children share what they learned or enjoyed before heading home.
