While all the episodes from Door-To-Door to Be All You Can Be were produced as a single season (On Production Seasons). The term Season 2 refers to the run of episodes from May 1993, after the show returned from hiatus, till the end of that Summer.
During this season, the show aired Monday through Thursday at two time slots: 7PM ET, which had occasional censorship, and 11PM ET, which usually aired uncensored.
Introduced in this season, every half hour would open with the following disclaimer: Beavis and Butt-head are not real. They are stupid cartoon people completely made up by this Texas guy who we hardly even know. Beavis and Butt-head are dumb, crude, thoughtless, ugly, sexist, self-destructive fools. But for some reason, the little weinerheads make us laugh.
Episodes of this season were animated by J.J. Sedelmaier Productions, and the digital ink and paint was done by USAnimation and MetroCel Animation Studios.
Many of the recurring characters of the series were introduced in this season.
This includes Stewart Stevenson, who was mentioned by name in several episodes of this season, but appeared only in Stewart's House.
This was the first season to have censorship during its initial run (Censorship in At the Sideshow and Beware of the Butt)
The first Moron-a-thon aired during this season.
The disclaimer introduced in this season originally had a typo, in which there was an extra "THE" before "WEINERHEADS". This ran for 2–3 weeks before it was caught and corrected. The corrected version introduced a new typo, in which "COMPLETELY" was misspelled as "COMPETELY".
The first episode in a half-hour block would typically be missing its title card, an apparent bug that was fixed by Season 3.
