1. Introduction

Disease-E-Library is an academic, field-oriented activity designed to strengthen students’ practical understanding of plant pathology. The event emphasizes disease identification, scientific documentation, preservation techniques, and communication of management strategies under real field conditions.

This activity integrates experiential learning and contributes to the Class Assessment (CA) of PTH323 and PTH313.

2. Objectives

·       To enhance practical skills in plant disease identification

·       To develop scientific documentation and preservation abilities

·       To promote field-based observational learning

·       To strengthen analytical and presentation skills in plant pathology

·       To encourage scientific communication through visual and digital media

3. Event Structure

The event will be conducted over two days.

Day 1

·       Field exploration and disease identification

·       Collection of diseased plant material

·       Photography and videography

·       Preparation and preservation of materials

Day 2

·       Submission and display of entries

·       Presentation before the evaluation panel

·       Review and academic assessment
