Component 1

Dear Students,

• For the first component of the CIA, you are required to study any one of the nine rasas. You have to find a rasa in any audio-visual clipping (films, short films, serials, advertisements, etc.). The maximum duration of the video can be up to 4 minutes, not longer than that. The video clipping must show at least one of the rasas.
• Please upload the video clipping to your Youtube account. [Click here to know how to upload a video on Youtube. Alternatively you can use this link to find three different ways of uploading a video on Youtube.]
• After uploading the video, copy the link of your video in Youtube and submit the link here in the form at the end of this page. Remember to submit your videos before 12 midnight of Sunday (18 December, 2016). The following form will be automatically closed at the above-mentioned time. You will get a maximum of 4 marks for your submission of video.
• After submission, each of you will be allotted a maximum of 5 minutes to explain the rasa and bhava in your video in the class. For your oral presentation, you will get a maximum of 6 marks.
• Totally, the component 1 carries 10 marks.
