LOCATION: The Arcadia Education Project is a project located in South Kanarchor, Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Dry Season (Nov-Apr), May 27 2015, June 16 2015;

Monsoon: June 21 2015, August 29 2015, September 08 2015.

CONSTRUCTION SYSTEM: Post and beam construction (Bamboos)

Harbours an elementary school, a hostel, a nursery and a training centre; an amphibious structure that does not disrupt the river environment, but adapts in response to flooding in the monsoon season with innovative use of traditional local building methods and materials. The site is flooded 5 months a year.
