In the midst of challenges we face in 2020 such as coronavirus and the senseless murders of innocent African-Americans including Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and George Floyd, the country of Yemen is facing the worst humanitarian crisis in the world, with 24 million men, women, and children starving.
For the past few months, I'm sure you have seen something about the struggles that the people of Yemen are facing. From malnutrition, to a civil war, to unsanitary living conditions amidst the coronavirus pandemic, the men, women, and children of Yemen need any help they can get. You can make a difference by purchasing a customized mason jar with fresh, homemade lemonade. If you know my mom, you know she is a tough critic when it comes to food and drinks. That's why I have her approve each batch of lemonade I make. If the lemonade passes her test, I hope it can pass yours too! So, if you've been looking for ways to make a difference, I invite you to order some Yemen-aid.
Each month, there will be a new flavor of the month, as well as a new Yemen charity/organization donated to. All information will be on this website, as well as Instagram
August:
For the month of August, I am so happy to announce that $504 (a $21 processing fee which I covered personally was added) was raised for UNICEF USA for Yemen! It was so amazing to see the tremendous support from everyone who contributed and spread the word. I am ecstatic to continue this venture, and continue fundraising the money needed to help those in Yemen. Thank you so much. xo

September:
For the month of September, a grand total of $211 ($3 processing fee) was raised for UNFPA. This organization does tremendous work to help reproductive struggles of women in Yemen, bringing several sanitary products and healthcare workers to help individuals safely. I was also ecstatic to see that they posted about The Yemen-AID Project on their Facebook!!! Check it out (:
