Our Mission

To provide a Christian outdoor learning environment that deepens compassion for others, strengthens creativity and develops a love of learning and care for nature, all through play and inquiry.

Our Vision

To provide 100% outdoor education. We envision a school where a child's strengths are developed and used to determine their growth. By learning outside, children learn to be good stewards of the earth and develop a deep appreciation for themselves, their peers and God's creation.

Our Beliefs about Education

We believe that children learn and grow best in nature.
Children learn by taking risks and getting messy.
Children learn best through active play and inquiry.
Learning is an active process.
Educational focus should be connected, allowing learning to become a part of what we do everyday.
By learning and playing outside, students learn to take care of God's creation. Children learn that they and their peers are a part of God's creation, developing a sense of purpose.
Children become compassionate by taking care of each other through cooperation and taking care of nature.
Children learn to be cooperative by working with their peers.
Children learn to be attentive through mindfulness activities, where they learn to develop their senses and self-awareness.
Children become creative through self-directed activities that stretch their imagination.
Children learn to be problem solvers through cooperative projects.
Children learn best by receiving learning experiences through low student-teacher ratios.
The teacher's job is to be the guide. They guide students to try new things, take risks and learn from their mistakes.
