Great Truths of the Bible - New concentration starting in January -"Holy Angels".  The fact of the existence of angels can be found through the entire Word of God.  Over 273 times in Scripture, we find angels carrying out the will and sovereign purpose of God.       Led by Rev. Theresa Bell, there are only 2 teachers in the classroom- the Holy Spirit and the Word!

The GREAT TRUTHS OF THE BIBLE, Principles of the Christian Faith by Alan B. Stringfellow is a study about the Bible. It is designed as a companion to your bible and as a guide that takes you into the Bible and involves you in the study of God’s Word, resulting in your understanding it better and appreciating it more.

1 Peter 2:2 says, “As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the Word, that ye may grow thereby.”  The lessons are not deep theological presentations, but they do require Scripture searching and dependence upon the “Teacher,” the HOLY SPIRIT, for complete understanding.

These lessons are not necessarily presented in chronological order but will take the students

through the Bible as the great truths from Genesis to Revelation are presented.

Needs:

• Great Truths of the Bible Workbook ($15 - $18), can be found on Amazon.com, Christianbooks.com. Worksbooks will be available for use if you do not have your own. 

• Your Bible (If you do not have one, one will be available for you)

• Notebook

• A friend to enjoy this study with you

A Day With Your Bible - Led by Rev. Theresa Bell - New Schedule in March 2024

Making the decision to attend a bible study class or to start a regular personal bible study habit can be intimidating and a daunting task for many reasons; one being the overwhelming amount of information between the covers of your bible.  

“A Day With Your Bible”  is an opportunity to become acquainted with this amazing book, how it is structured and organized, get a brief history and an introduction to some easy study methods.  Come expecting to enjoy the day in a casual and comfortable atmosphere where every questions is valid and no one is the expert because we are all continuing to learn and grow daily.  A good foundation can lead to an enriched study life, increased faith, confidence and an increased understanding of the preached Word. Journey with Rev. Theresa Bell as we establish that strong foundation.

• Bring a bible, a note book and a friend. (If you do not have a bible, one will be provided for you to use.)

“This is the Bible” Study - Led by Rev. Theresa Bell

Understanding how the bible is structured and finding a translation that  you can read and understand can, with the help of the Holy Spirit, lead to an enriched study life, increased faith, confidence and an increased understanding of the preached Word. Reading the bible may seem like a daunting task, but like anything else that you’ve shied away from or that you’ve only viewed from a distance, once you have an understanding, it will become something you will learn to enjoy. Journey with Rev. Theresa Bell as we establish a strong foundation to build upon.

Bible Study Methods - Led by Rev. Theresa Bell

Twelve Ways You Can Unlock God’s Word - Based on Rick Warren’s BIBLE STUDY METHODS

“If you continue in my word, then are you my disciples indeed, and you shall know

the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:31-32 KJV

The purpose of this bible study is to teach you how to study and dig out the riches

of the Word of God for yourself. Look… Search… Observe… Then write down your

findings. You will be introduced to 12 basic methods of personal Bible study. There is a

logical progression through the study and as you move from chapter to chapter,

you will be introduced to additional Bible study skills. For the best results, we'll

study each method in the order given before proceeding to the next. However,

each method can be studied independently of the others.

Each chapter contains the same basic components, but the order varies:

1. A condensed outline of each method

2. A short definition of the method

3. A rationale for each method

4. The procedure for each method

5. The example of each method

6. A blank form you can use or copy for your own study (homework)

7. Suggested possible passages or subjects to get you started on your own study

8. Suggestions for further reading related to each method

It is the Vision of Sisters in Ministry to Nurture, Inspire, Challenge and Encourage (NICE). Our Mission is to offer guidance and support to help Women navigate the journey of ministry in preaching, teaching and kingdom leadership from God's call to whatever ministry assignment God has called each of us to do.
