Have you ever asked yourself after reading the story where did the author gets the title?
Well as we all know Igorots have other traditions in way of weddings. Maybe it has little similarity to us but they are different. After the wedding ceremony and vows, in the night the couple dances together with other people in their community. The dance performed is not like our tradition where a couple dances sweetly to a love song because in them it's like a dance with ritual they use their traditional instruments and creates a sound. It is related to the story as it was titled "The wedding dance" because the story pertains to a man who wants to marry again that in his wedding night he dances with his new wife, then suggested to his first wife to dance also in the crowd to find another man to be with.
