About

Like Birds of a Feather is a Bang featuring all forms of Wing AUs from three predominant bird themed ships of Hoyoverse games- Genshin Impact's Alhaitham/Kaveh and Diluc/Kaeya; and Honkai: Star Rail's Aventurine/Dr. Veritas Ratio.
This is a light hearted project for fun. We are here to have a good, somewhat chaotic, if not goofy time. If you come in here expecting a well polished, by the book, super clean professional experience that will worship you- you will be reminded that the head mod once spent 10 minutes slut shaming the co-mod's sandwich bread for being nutty and getting hard (stale). Again, this is for fun.
Crossovers are encouraged but not required, the specific dynamics and interactions between the ships will be up to the participants and matchmaking.
The direct setting of the art/fic will be at the choice and discretion of the creator pair.
Feather will be 18+ regardless of interest check results because the head mod doesn't have time to deal with puberty.
Feather, unlike many Bangs, will have limited space to take part in the project in order to ensure balance between the three ships. Contributors will not be selected solely on skill, but mostly on availability, visibility, and flexibility.
The project hopes to have at least 6 working teams of each ship (18 people) and no more than 24 (72 people).
Bang projects are collaborative by nature. While the mods do not benefit off your works in any way, the person working with you depends on your timeliness, communication, and understanding. Please do not join if you cannot play with others or meet your deadlines without reasonable extensions.

Don't be a dick.
We don't ask much and should not have to detail how to not be an asshole.
Don't be a flake to your collab partner. Seriously. This is a huge problem in Hoyo fandom and it's disturbing how little respect and care the creators seem to have for each other in collab projects. Your teammate is counting on you. Again, don't be a dick.
If you cannot stand breathing the same air as a vers, reverse dynamic, OR one of these ships- just don't join. Fixed shippers are more than welcome to be fixed- but you must be at least tolerant and respectful to other shippers of other dynamics to join this project. We will be enforcing proshipper mentality to dynamics and preferences as well.
If you unironically "but they're brothers," "ew incest," or #ragbros!! at any of the KLK'rs you will be kicked from the project. We don't see them that way. It's not incest by legal definition in all related countries of potential source material (Germany, America, and China). It's 2024, this is old news, and you can get over yourself if you think anyone gives a shit.

Technical Bits

This is a free project and none of the works created for or by "Like Birds of a Feather" (or "Feather") will be sold or distributed by the project directly. All creators retain full rights to their created pieces. Feather is not affiliated, endorsed, or supported by Hoyoverse/Cognosphere/MiHoyo in any way.
Like Birds of a Feather is operated namely by the mod tKettie with their trusty Wing Man (ha) Tai and 2 additional mods if/when we find someone compatible during applications that can cover additional timezones if anyone has questions.
The project Feather is Proship by default and does not allow, tolerate, or permit any form of ship/dynamic hate within it's confines or adjacent spaces. Any contributor found to be acting against the rules of "don't like, don't read" and treating fellow creators without respect, regardless of preference, will be removed by force and not allowed to return. We are operating under the original definition of proship and leave contributors to tag and denominate any problematic content should it be present.
