Young children love to participate in make believe, especially if the music is fun!
As an elementary school music teacher, I knew first hand how students become more enthusiastic when inventing their own songs. You can hear many of them at www.btrixmusic.com.
A few years ago some of our Kindergarten classes started collaborating in inventing a story with songs and The Three Princesses is the result.
The variety of characters was designed to satisfy all the students desires to be involved. (So many princesses and sisters!)Â The songs were immediately invented and performed. As a result they are classroom tested to guarantee an enthusiastic response.
