The Queen and the Wizard are seen talking together.
Narrator: Long ago there was a queen. Her husband had passed away years before and she was lonely, even though she had a very large family. All girls! Enough to almost have a soccer team.
One day the Queen asked the Wizard for advice. There was to be a ball that evening at the castle. She had invited five noble knights along with many other guests, and was hoping that perhaps one of the knights would fall in love with her and they could be married.
But she was worried. Her oldest daughters were very beautiful and if they were at the ball the noble knights might not notice her.
The Wizard told her not to worry. “ Trust me”, he said, “I will take care of everything”.
The Queen and the Wizard exit.
