The Tech Circle: Terms and Conditions

Welcome to the Tech Circle Kids Coding Camp ("Program") offered by The Tech Circle. These Terms and Conditions ("T&C") establish the legal agreement between you ("Participant") and The Tech Circle regarding your participation in the Program.

By registering for the Program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these T&C.

Eligibility

Students:The Program is open to students between the ages of 13 and 18 residing in Jos and surrounding areas.

Mentors: Mentors must be at least 18 years old and possess relevant experience in coding and/or working with children. Background checks may be required at The Tech Circle's discretion.

Program Participation

Registration:

Participants (students and mentors) must register online through the registration page or by following the registration process outlined by The Tech Circle.

Code of Conduct:

All participants must adhere to the Tech Circle Code of Conduct .

Intellectual Property

Any work created by students during the Program remains the intellectual property of The Tech Circle. The Tech Circle reserves the right to use any work created by students in any form they deem fit.

Disclaimer of Warranties

* The Program is provided "as is," and The Tech Circle makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Program or its outcomes.

* The Tech Circle disclaims any liability for technical issues or disruptions that may occur during the Program.

Health and Safety Guidelines

The organizers are committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for all participants. However, due to the risk of communicable diseases, we encourage all participants to maintain good hygiene practices, including frequent handwashing and covering coughs and sneezes. If you feel unwell, please refrain from attending the workshop and seek medical advice.

Limitation of Liability

The Tech Circle shall not be liable for any damages or injuries arising from participation in the Program, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or emotional distress.

Termination

The Tech Circle reserves the right to terminate a participant's involvement in the Program for any reason, including but not limited to violation of the T&C, misconduct, or disruptive behavior.

Governing Law

These T&C shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nigeria.

Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these T&C or the Program shall be resolved through [Dispute Resolution Method, e.g., mediation, arbitration].

Updates to T&C

The Tech Circle reserves the right to update these T&C at any time. Updated T&C will be posted on the Program website or communicated to participants via email.

Data Privacy

We collect personal information during registration (name, email, etc.) and participation (attendance, assignments) to administer the Program and improve future offerings. We may share your information with instructors, mentors, and service providers (who are obligated to protect your privacy). We will not share your information with any other third party without your consent, except as required by law. You have certain rights regarding your information, including access, rectification, deletion, and objection to processing. Permission for Photos

By registering for the Program, participants agree that The Tech Circle may take photos during the Program for promotional purposes without requiring additional permission
