What is shapeshifting?

Shapeshifting is the transformation of a human into an animal, or one being into another completly different being.

How is shapeshifting possible?

Shapeshifting is possible due to the fact its a hereditary gene. It is a gene that can be passed down generations,. The Gene mostly relates to animals of equal mass--Large Canines, Big Cats, Dragons, and Foxes is an exception. The Shifting Gene can also skip many generations, affecting all or only the chosen members.
After the Shifter hits puberty, They will begin their very first shifting episodes. With each episode your body tests you, to see if your ready so be patient. It also strengthens the shift with every episode

what are some symptoms before shifting?

Symptoms of Shifting vary widely. After puberty is finished shifting can take years because your body has to go through changes. These changes are called shifting episodes. With every Shifting Episode your body is being altered to fit the shift, and getting it closer to be able to physically shift.

Shifting Symptoms include

▫️Excesive and consistant ringing in the ears, much like the old analog tv screech.

▫️A secondary heartbeat sensation in various areas if your body.

▫️Pulsation sensations,

▫️Headaches, & Migraines

▫️Episodes of Animalistic instincts, desires, and urges

▫️Mental Shifting

▫️Phantom Limbs-Tail, Limbs, Fur, Scales, Ears, Posture, Wings, etc...

▫️Body pains-Bone aches, muscle aches and spasms

▫️Warm tingling in bones.

▫️Bones Cracking and popping

▫️Body Temperature rising

▫️Body parts stretching

▫️The feeling of a secondary phantom body inside your human body parts, moving from side to side and the feeling if stretching from the movement of it

▫️Daytime Paralysis--Occurrs when your body pulsates, as your limbs and body get extremely heavy, then you collapse into paralysis, Shifting Paralysis can go two ways-You black out and go into a vision where you meet your animals form, or your body starts contorting and wanting to start shifting.

What is Shifter's Paralysis?

Shifter's Paralysis can be a very frightening episode if you dont know what it is straight off. Your body will start with this secondary heartbeat, then it changes to this pulsation sensation as it picks up speed and your body starts becoming heavy then go limp as you fall into paralysis. Shifter's Paralysis can be a mixture of events, it can either black you out and send you into a vision where you see your animal's form and appearance, as it deep within your subconsciousness, as your formless and bodiless in an unknown place, usually forested or grassy.

The other side is Shifter's Paralysis can give you shifting oains as your body starts contorting uncontrollably..

How does the gene begin?

The gene begins with the reincarnation of an animal spirit upon birth. An animal's soul gets reincarnated with a human, This reincarnation gives the person the abilty to physically shift, because shifting lies within their soul blueprint. at is where the bloodline begins, everyone in that bloodline will be determined to shift, and with the active gene or not.

Other Genetics a Shifter Has

All Shifters will go through a seasonal involuntary, forced shift.--A forced shift every 6-10 months, range may vary. All shifters will also enter heat(both male and female)in the fall. For males, its different, Their testostrone levels raise, and some instincts kick in.

During this time if they are able and already have found a mate, this is when they instinctually mate. Aside, the Animalistic Hormones may also trigger Shifting.
