The Student Perspective is a student-run journal aiming to present important information in an easily comprehensible format to students aged 12 to 14. Co-founded by two students studying at Singapore American School, Zi Ning (Zi) Lau and Chrisllynn Siah, The Student Perspective is comprised of passionate students hoping to broaden the perspectives of students worldwide. From covering social injustices to discussing internal relations, this journal aims to deepen their understanding of crucial current events and global concepts.

The phrase “Ad Meliora”, our motto, is Latin for “towards better things”. This saying represents our shared goal of providing students with the opportunity to see the world from a clearer and deeper perspective.
