Chrisllynn Siah

Chrisllynn is a 16 year-old Singaporean currently studying at Singapore American School who hopes to study law in university. Her interests include writing and playing the drums. Chrisllynn initiated The Student Perspective with the hopes that it would encourage young students to form diverse perspectives about the world they live in; she hopes the articles she writes can similarly spark their interest for politics and the legal world.
Zi Ning Lau
Co-Founder, Editor-in-chief, Writer for Social Justice
Zi Ning (Zi) is currently 16 years old and attending Singapore American School. After high school, she plans to study music and English. Aside from writing and reading, Zi’s interests include basketball and songwriting. As a Singaporean who previously lived overseas, she hopes to further connect with local communities and cultures while broadening her knowledge of international issues. She believes that knowledge, bravery, and empathy are the foundations of confronting injustice, and hopes that sharing these values will help younger students believe in their ability to create change.
Emily O'Brien
Copywriter, Social Media Manager, Writer for Social Justice
Emily is 16 years old and currently studying at Singaporean American School and hopes to study education and sociology in college. Her other extracurriculars include writing, reading both fiction and nonfiction, and playing volleyball. Her interests in educational reform and sociology have influenced her decision to focus on writing about social issues around the world, she hopes to highlight the injustices around the world and to foster a sense of sympathy within young students.
Mira Nambiar
Writer for Politics
Mira is a 16 year old who is currently studying at Singapore American School and hopes to study law or international relations in college. Her interests include reading, playing the piano, and fencing. She hopes her articles on politics and international relations will inspire younger students to take an interest in the interactions of different nations and how it could affect both them and the rest of the world.
Evelyn Kim

Evelyn is a 16 year-old student studying at Singapore American School who hopes to major in political science and study law afterwards. Outside of writing, she enjoys public speaking, playing music, as well as crocheting. Through her writing, she hopes to encourage others to get involved in politics and understand the importance of not only understanding the world around them, but also how they can make a difference.
