A: Because she is very important for the Galician culture and she was a heroine of the defense against the English army in 1589.

A: She was a merchant.

A: My favorite Galician legend is Maria Pita. She was a woman of the years 1800, she lived in A Coruña and made the Navy win a battle there.
Q: Who told you that legend?
A: My grandparents told me.
Q: How do you feel listening to that legend?
A: I feel very proud of her.

A: I know three legends: Maria Pita, Santiago de Compostela, and Santa Campaña
