The goal of our project is to create awareness of the need and then collect snacks throughout the school year for 833 students. In the spring of 2018, we started a pilot program in three of our elementary schools (Bailey, Middleton and Woodbury). In the Fall of 2018, we added ten schools as collection sites and now, we are up to fourteen collection sites. There are nineteen schools, in all, who are participating in the S.N.A.C.K. program.
We hope that we can create sustainability and that the project continues for as long as possible.

"Teacher, parents and especially kids are incredibly grateful for the snack program. One of our classrooms provides snack to 14 kids a day! With the Snack program, the teacher can focus on teaching kids and not worrying about paying for all the snacks. One child came up to me and gave me a huge hug saying, “thank you for the snacks!!”. Keep up the great work!
